Angry Re: What can be done about line jumpers?

I remember my friends and I were almost first in line for the first soft opening of Space Mountain (we would have been on the first train). So the CM walked us through the winding line to make sure no one would charge the line. As soon as the line bacame parallel with the arcade next door, a group of about 10 people cut in front in us. You would expect these people to be teenagers but no, they were probably in their fifty's. I said some colorful words to these people as they walked by and one of the guys had the nerve to say, "Calm down! I can do this if I want." I was like WHAT THE *******? The CM is watching the whole thing and didn't do jack. We would have been on the first train of the first soft opening for this ride but no, these selfish people had to steal it for themselves. I know this isn't the worst thing a person could do at DL, but it sure did piss me off. I hate cutters.

Of course - this would probably create a whole new problem w/ more litter.
Yeah I always liked that about six flags. But then again it would be more of a problem for them than Disneyland.

But at Disneyland, I dunno. The ticket thing might take away from the "happy" atmosphere" Just a bit.

Embarrass them totally.. keep it up... they will back down. They are cowards. Everyone around you will soon join in! Then set them on fire.

    Maybe forget that last bit.

I'm a big fan of just not doing anything about the line-jumpers, and then letting the Karma work our in the end.

If it's only one or two and they're catching up with people close to the beginning of line then no problem with me. It's when you have the one person in front of you and then the rest of their 30 person group try to cut near the end that I have a problem with. I'm a VERY loud person when I want to be. I'm also rude and cold hearted so yeah, I use it all to my advantage and it's usually worked when it's been a problem with me.

Just watch them jump the line...Life is just to short, oh well. They are just kids having fun, but on the other hand if they were senior citizens all hell is going to break loose....

Re: What can be done about line jumpers?

I would guess the CM's don't really care if people jump lines. They want to get x amount of people on the ride per hour. That's all they care about. I bet you don't too often see CM's do anything about line cutters.

Easiest thing is to bring someone that is big and/or intimidating. NOBODY will try to cut in front of you.

Line jumpers suck! That is one of my top 5 park annoyances.
