To all Fantasmic Fanatics out there...

So Fantasmic is a really great show...I am sure most of you agree...well I've seen it maybe 3 times since it's been back...

question to you all out there: Have you seen the guy who sits at the waterfront center area...has enough tarps on the ground to be able to sit like 30 people. He is apparently there every weekend...

I dont know if he even posts are these Boards...i imagine so...

He obviously likes the character TinkerBelle...as he wears pins and everything else with Tink on it...he also knows all of Mickey's dances...(hand motions)

Anyone seen him? Anyone know his story?????

I haven't seen him. I usually try not to look at those people because they are crazy! I'm usually in the back!

that guy is the best... he's probably been there 90% of the times i have seen it! i always wondered what his story was... maybe i'll just go talk to him next time...

Tarp Guy loves stealing a spot from tourists by setting up camp hours in advance. He's had problems with the bumblebees for his behavior. And anyone doing the motions in FRONT of others simply doesn't understand how that ruins the magic for day guests. I feel bad for any kids from out of town that were treated to his version of the show.

I've done my share of early camping and getting CMs to give me a reserved spot, but every show in the best spot? Pretty selfish if you ask me.

I think his name is Dave. I've seen him a few times. Another guy named David also used to put a tarp out there nightly.

yes his name is dave...

He has a tinker belle hat, jacket, more than one lanyards full of tink pins, i am sure he has a tink shirt on...and sits on a worn out pink tinkerbelle beach towel....

He looks the same every single time i've seen him...

OMG, i saw him when I was there on Saturday. He was out there with his tarp at 4:30!

There was like 5 other people in his group. My sister and I sat a few feet next to his tarp...he came over to tell us to move to another space where we could get a good view. He knew exactly where the rope was going to be tied for the emergency lane. It was kind of scary...although it was nice of him to tell us where to sit lol.

CMs must love him for being at many of these performances.... (how can a guy do that.... it makes no sence... even i am not that fanatic about a show..)

its great that he is a fantasmic fanatic, but he doesnt have to be there in the same spot for every show and doing the same hand movements as mickey. it does ruin the magic for the kids seeing him sitting there doing the same movements as mickey. i have seen him before cuz he has come around my stores looking for tinkerbell pins to trade. but for someone to camp out there waiting for the show to start for that many hours is a true fan. the most i'll wait for the show is like 10 min before it starts. but then again i have friends working it and so they find me and whoever im with some pretty good seats or standing places. im sure he is definitely an AP if he is there for every show.
