    Parking, Parking, Parking

A few parking questions for the experts...

-Are premium APs able to get free parking at timon?
-What time does mickey and friends/timon lots open?
-I heard there was another lot other than mickey and friends/timon...is this true?

    Thanks!

Parking is for the Mickey and Friends lot ONLY. More than likely if you enter through Timon you will have to go all the way through the road, onto Disney way, make a U-Turn at Ball and go back in the Mickey and Friends structure.

Are you talking about Pinnochio??? It's connected to M&F.

I know there is another off-site lot that they use when it's REALLY busy, but I forget what it's called. I want to say Simba?

Yes. We use it all the time.

I don't know. I hate that lot and avoid it like the plague.

Yes, there is off of Disney Way (I think), but there is no tram/shuttle so you have to walk.

^ That's odd, every time we enter through Timon they make us go out and enter through M&F.

I found this link in Disney's site that has all the parking lots:
    http://disneyland.disney.go.com/dlm/...tingAroundPage

We need confirmation if Timon is usabel by PAPs.

And all the parking opens 30 mins before park opening?

Timing is everything. Get there too early and you will be directed to go to M&F.

Timon is included in the PAP free parking. We always check Timon FIRST. We are coming up from the south, using the carpool lane and it exits so you are guided under the sign, and to (or past Timon). We usually don't go to the Park first thing in the morning and Timon is being used 80% of the time we have tried it. If it isn't open, it is a bother to have to drive around to M&F but at least we have welcomed ourselves with the sign.

    The Disneyland Parking Lots Are:

    Mickey and Friends (Structure)
    Pinocchio (Oversized)
    Timon
Pumba - On Disney Way (Overflow with no Tram)
Simba - At Katella and Disneyland Drive (Overflow with no Tram)
Buzz Lightyear - Harbor and Convention Way (God help you if you have to park here. This rarely used lot is located on the old strawberry field and has no tram service)

And of course each hotel and DTD have lots as well as the Katella Cast Member Lot, and the parking structure at TDA.

Sounds good to me, $10 is outrageous to pay for parking, especially given the high price of admission. Just don't park at the McDonald's across the street. That place is a prime parking spot for Disneyland, of which they are well aware, and they frequently patrol the parking lot and tow anyone who's been there too long...that's why it's never that full.

The conditions on your pass (and it's printed on the pass as well) state that included passholder parking is available at Mickey and Friends only. However, there's at least an informal policy not to turn away passholders, and we've not had trouble parking in any lot if we don't use Mickey and Friends.

OK, Froggy...that's the FIRST time I've ever noticed the small print on the back of the pass designating Mickey and Friends. Trust a lawyer to read the small print!

    Re: Parking, Parking, Parking

I thought it was only the Mickey and Friends, however one day I ended up going to the Timon lot on accident (I just moved here at the time and wasn't used to the drive by myself). They didn't say anything to me, just a "thank you, have a fun day". Ever since then I figured you could park there too and always try to park there when I go as I found it much easier. Then I too looked it up and I was right the first time, only the Mickey and Friends.

I've never had a problem with it, and haven't heard anyone else having a problem. Now that I know it's not exactly where you're supposed to park, I feel a little bad.

I'd certainly like to know. As I've stated previously, I don't like parking structures to begin with, and I find Mickey and Fiends to be about the least user friendly I've ever dealt with.
