    What would he think?

If Walt could visit Disneyland today... what do you think he would like? What would he approve of and enjoy thouroughly... in your opinion.

Let's try and avoid any negative, because I'm pretty sure we all know some things that would disappoint him... but what would he like?

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

I think he'd really like Fantasmic!. It makes use of an already existing area and uses novel techniques to create a true immersion in the moment. Plus it has some scary parts, Mr. Disney did love the scary parts!!

i think he'd like how much the park has grown and changed over the years and how much it continues to grow and change.
    I'd rather be at Disneyland

I think he would be like, "What do you mean it's $79 to get in?" "I'm him!! It's MY place, look over there, that is MY apartment!!!!!"

I think he would love Turtle Talk with Crush. Its just the kind of 'gee-wiz' new technology in the service of entertainment that he always promoted.

Ever since I first saw it, I've said Walt would have LOVED Fantasmic!

I also think he'd be pretty impressed with how well the spirit of his vision has been preserved.

Is this place still going away? Such a shame to see such an original little (and popular) food place being gone to make some lame 2-story restaurant. Yes, I think he would like Bengal too.

I think Walt's first reaction would be "What the hell?" followed by many "You're fired!"..........

    Re: What would he think?

I think he would be absolutely amazed with Fantasmic, Remember..., and Parade of dreams. I also think he would have tons of fun on BTMR. Some of the greatest attractions were created by Walt and those are probably the ones he would ride over and over and over again. I dont think we would be too excited to see his park the way it is today

He would probably like a lot of things, but he would probably dislike a lot more, namely Tomorrowland.

I think some newer things would be hard simply because of changes in social norms.

What I think Walt would greatly enjoy:
Indiana Jones Adventure - for the technology
Jack Sparrow AAs - seeing how far the AAs have come since Lincoln
    Fantasmic!
    Plussed Classics
    Continued popularity of the trains
    Fantasyland
    surrounding properties

    Re: What would he think?

I got to meet Walt, and when I did he was very concerned about what my family thought of the Park, asking us what we liked the best and such. So, I think he would be most interested in knowing what the guests think, regardless of his personal observations.
