"New" characters out in the summer of 2006

Chharacters Anonymous (CA) meeting is called to order.

Ok, enough silliness, yes we do get as many characters as we can; they've all pretty much been taken since 2004 (a few from 2003), just at DLR (except Cars at El Cap). We are lacking some villans which we hope to get the Halloween, both other than that it's pretty complete as for who's been out since 2004 (I think)

Here are the new ones we came up with this summer:

first there was Clarabelle:


Then two Brers


we finally got a decent picture of Stick from BPB


and a trip to El Capitan Theater we found some Cars




and our lates, Captain Jack Sparrow

When I took my daughters there in Late July this last summer, we saw both Clarabelle and the Brers...didn't know they were new, though! Didn't they used to have Brer Bear and Fox a while back? I could have sworn I'd seen them when I was younger, but maybe not...

Yeah, Brer Bear & Brer Fox have been around for many years, now Clarabelle I've seen in parades, but hadn't seen her roaming out in "meet-n-greet" with the guests. So I guess upon what definition of "new" you're going by.

you are correct - they aren't "new" they just hadn't appeared in a while, we've only been stalking, errrr , i mean collecting since 2004.

Ther Three Pigs are another example of this. they aren't "new" but hadn't appeared in quite some time. Here's our pic from 2005:




For the sake of completeness, here's our entire character gallery including characters in different costumes (i.e., we've caught Goofy and Pluto in about 7-8 outfits). and it only counts if i get a family pictures ina pose with them.

Yor making me mad Disney Jones. The reason is Clarabelle Cow. I've seen a lot of post and pictures of people fining her. I know were she is and every time I go to Disneyland I ask is Clarabelle Cow going to be out and I always get the same story that she when shopping in the mall or she is getting her make up fix or she is getting her hair done. And when I see people say when they got her picture and autograph it is always after I go. Like take last Sat. 12th. I was at Disneyland and she was not there but then I read on another board that she was out on Monday the 14th or there was another time when I went on a sat she show up on the next day Sun. I am really getting mad about this she is on my number 1 hit list to get my picture taken.

I am very impressed. I have never seen many of those characters at the parks.

Now I'm more mad then ever. I just saw all your photos Disney Jones and there is alot there that you got that I have never seen. Like Dopey,Sleppy, The Pigs, Daisy Duck. no, none are from WDW. Pain and Panic made a few brief appearances last summer - just a few days. like i said, i'm an obsessive stalker when it comes to Character appearances.

to get the pigs, i made a one day trip to Phoenix just for them.

besides the Villians, the ones i'd like to get most are Smee and Jiminy Cricket. just too rare.
