New Audio-Animatronic Show!!

According to Al's update today, there's talk about Disney wanting to put in an all new audio-animatronic show in the building that now host Innoventions. Wouldn't that be great??? This is something that I have always felt needed to be done, and I'm sure it would be awesome!! I've never liked Innoventions and this sheds some hopeful light, so let's hope it actually happens sometime in this decade!

It is good news! The basic "bones" of the building are still interesting. I think that a show would be great.

Anything other than Innoventions in there would be, IMO, a giant leap forward.

Perhaps the new updated "It's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!" with scenes from the 2000s?

Sounds good but I hope they will keep the Talk to Stitch thing inside Innoventions and move it elsewhere. It's a really neat little one-on-one thing you can do with Stitch.

Of course knowing how WDI works now it will probably end up being converted into a new pixar attraction of some sort.

I would love to see an updated carrousel.....but sence disney likes progress.....and pixar....I doubt that

That's not waht Al said. He said that Microsoft has a 2 year sponcership of Innoventions so we will not see any changes for that time. He then said that the people at WDI would love to put a show back in there. WDI doesn't have the final say on any changes to the building.

I know what Al said...and if you read what I wrote you'll find I didn't say Disney would put a show in there, nor did I say it would happen within the next 2 years. I was simply making an observation and didn't say anything definite.

I suggested putting a smaller "best of innoventions" in Starcade. That Talk to stitch would be one of the "best of"s.

Just thought of this: This would be a good place for the AA Stitch without having "Stitch's Great Escape"!! Not an entire Stitch show, but like a cameo for him Probably also add some other references to Stitch, Treasure Planet, Chicken Little, Capt EO, etc. But of the alien creatures should then be original creations

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. We all think "21st Century Carousel of Progress", Disney is thinking, "just how many Pixar characters can we cram into the building?". And by the way, there are multiple and independent "scenes" so what WDI is salivating over is the fact that they can represent ALL the major Pixar releases in one single ride, not the fact that it is an incredibly innovative and still-original type of building.

Hopefully in 2 years from now Disney will come off its wild Pixar binge and actually start designing new rides. But until they show us something that doesn't have Buzz Lightyear or Nemo in it, I seriously doubt the Carousel of Progress building ride will be very original.

And maybe when they reopen the people mover, we'll get the speed tunnels back!
