they used so many of my best friend and my pix! our list was over 6 feet long when we printed it out! half of them were on the steamboat willie one, the rest are all over... we found all but 5-10 of the non-steamboat ones and wrote down what they are! so exciting!

If you don't get the e-mail, the next time you go to the park, they have this thing set up right near city hall and what you do is either type in your name or e-mail and it will do a search and bring up on the screen where your pics are. And they print you up the list on where the pics are. I only sent in one pic and it ended up getting in 7 of the collages. I will post tomorrow to tell you were my pics are. Too tired to read the paper just now. I was totally shocked they used my one pic in so many of them too.

My wife, Daughter, and I are in Willie several times, 20,000 Leagues, Jessie, Dragon, Incredibles, and Bugs Life.

I wonder if they will sell these in a book or posters or something.

I found mine tonight,YAY!, although I am dissapointed that they only used 3 out of the 10+ I submitted. I was hoping they would at least use the Grandma hugging Prince John.

All of mine are in Steemboat Willie. But I did hear somewhere that all the photo listings are not in the database yet. I hope that's right and more are out there!!

    <-----Especially this one!

My one pic I submitted is in the Steam Boat Willie one three times. And I am in the Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Fantismic and over at DCA I am in the Mr. Increadible.
This lady I was talking to on Sunday, was telling me she sent in 20 pictures, and they only used one in one of the collages.
I think this is so cool how they did these and for us to be a part of the 50th celebration. That would be nice if they made posters and or a book with all the collages in it. I know I would buy it if they did. So maybe if all of us who have our pictures in the collages, if we would either call or go into city hall and make the suggestion. Maybe they would see the interest in it and hey look at all the money they would make off them if they were all in a book.

I sent in 4 pics and two are in the Steamboat collage...thankfully in rows 14 and 15...easy to see...

The list I got on Main St. only listed the above pics. Would the DCA collages have been listed there, or do I need to actually go to DCA to check?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

On my list it showed the Incredibles. How I figured it was at DCA is because all of the collages with the Pixar themes are at DCA.
At least yours are easier to spot in the Steam Boat one. Mine are like 8 and 9 down and in 19, 21 and 23 across. I can wait until I get back to the park so I can see if I can find my pictures in the ones that are not to high to see.

We received an email just before the 5th, thanking us for our submissions but, no committment.

Then, while at DL, we found the computer kiosk (sp?) that, when you plug in your email address, it will spit out a list of the photos they used and where...we found most of ours....we couldn't exactly see the ones on Steamboat Willie - we're up in the left hand corner, way above the street....I guess I need super binoculars!

But it was fun looking for them. And, I heard from 2 CMs that there are at least 3 more collages that have not been installed yet ~ so not to worry...everyone could still make it!

    Ahoy all,

Thanks for all the help. I saw big lines on 5/5 at City Hall but wasn't sure what it was for.

What if you dropped off your photos directly atthe park instead of emailing them? I guess I will find out next week when I go. It's very exciting. I sent in 4 or 5. I hope they used one of me and Pluto from the 80's. I am laughing my head off.

How hard would it be for Disney to put a link to the kiosks on their site? That way people not able to make it to Disneyland, could at least find out if their pictures were used, and where. It would be a lot easier then sending out thousands of personalized e-mails, with the same info.

We're in seven times. Three in Steamboat, once in Flik, Mr. Incredible, Nemo, and Donald.

I couldn't get close enough to find the exact one on any of them except perhaps Donald, and I didn't have enough time to really look at Donald to find the shot. If anyone goes by there with a zoom lens, let me know, and I'll ask you to find and shoot it for me.

Again, as many of you have asked, why make them so hard to see, six feet up or higher?

I recieved the e-mail late last night about where my pics are.
And a friend of mine who's mom is a CM was there the other day and decided to go to the kiosk and print out where my pics were and went on a hunt to find my pics. He found the one on the Fantismic one and though the print out said I was on Mickeys right foot, the pic is actually right under the foot. He also found my pic in the Sleeping Beauty one and in the Mr. Incrediable over at DCA. And for most of us it sound like we are way at the top in the Steam Boat one. But if anyone out there is in that one near where it is eye level, let us know. Its kind of cool that we are there at the park even though we are home or else where. And to be a part of the disney history is special. Since I wasn't alive on opening day nor will I most likly be here for the 100th BD.
I did ask about if they were going to put all the pics in a book and the CM I spoke with said they most likly couldn't do that. Because they would need written permission from everyone to do that. And because of selling peoples likeness they can't do that without written permission. And I said we had to give permission to have them put up anyway, so why is this different? And they told me, its different where money and selling something is involved. But I was still thinking if enough of us would either stop in a city hall or call and make it known that those of us that got our pics in them, would be interested in buying something like this if they would make it available. And I said to the CM that look of all the money that Disney would make if they did this. And I know Disney would love the money part of this. So the next time I go, I am going to try this and put in the suggestion. I don't know if it will do anything or not, but hey I am going to try anyway.
