Cafe Orleans and some of Cast member need help

The Castmember of Cafe' Orle'ans needs your help. I think is time that manger of the Cafe' Orle'ans Change the size of there glass cups.

If you take a 12 oz cup and put in a a lot of ICE and you get about 7 oz- 8 oz drink. So a hot day you take Three or four sips and your glass is empty. Then the castmember need someone to help to keep the glass full.

If you think if buy 16 oz cup or take some from any disneyland dinning area.
a 16 oz size with ice you get about 12 oz of water

HERE IS THE HELP YOU CAN DO FOR CASTMEMBER, THE CAST MEMBER TELL THE MANGER THAT NEED BIG GLASS. NO RESPOND FROM THE MANGER.

SEND E-MAIL OR GO TO CITY HALL AND LEAVE A COMMENT ABOUT GLASS SIZE.

    sorry if the wrong forum.

You are so right. I think the first time I ate there after they reopened is was over 100 degrees and our waitress had to fill our glasses many times. I'll leave the comment next time I'm there.

Translation: The current water glasses at Cafe Orleans are too small, so the CMs have a hard time keeping them filled, especially on hot days. Please help the CMs provide better guest service by telling the manager that larger water glasses would be appreciated.

I'm not new, and I still don't, so don't feel bad.

Thank you for the translation. While I got the gist of what the poster was intending, I did think they were complaining about the cast member at first.

Re: Cafe Orleans and some of Cast member need help

I thought that this thread was about the bad cast members that work there because on July 17 we had dinner there and one of the new 06 cm's started flipping off other cm's as they were passing. I am not one to complain at City Hall but that got my whole families attention and we told the lead and city hall, that was the only time we have ever complained. What he was doing was very wrong.
Anyway back to this, yea the glass sizes everywhere could be improved or just ask the sever for less ice or no ice. the fountain drinks are already cold even before the ice hits them.

Re: Cafe Orleans and some of Cast member need help

It seems like a simple change that saves a whole lot of time and money.

CM's don't have to refill it as much. Guests are happier so they come back and eat there more often. Costs of washing should be about the same.

As this post shows, details are important. They make more of a difference than most people realize.

Re: Cafe Orleans and some of Cast member need help

Our group are iced tea drinkers. And we don't just drink, it really appears we inhale the stuff. I have seen times when a server will refill our drink and not even make it to the drink station before the glass is empty again. Many places we will ask that they leave us a pitcher (there are usually 5-6 of us) and sometimes they do, others they say they can't. Once we were at Goofy's, and after refilling us a couple times, I jokingly said "You should just leave the pitcher", the server said very seriously "We aren't allowed to do that", proceeded to put the pitcher down on the table and clear a couple dishes. Well, we finished that pitcher off and he comes back by with "Oh, thats where I left it!", fills it back up, and the comes back and clears our table leaving the pitcher again. He comes back when its empty again, very serious like, "I just can't keep track of this pitcher"... Needless to say, he got an additional tip...
