I must be lucky, I've seen the dreaded "Wall of Gum" in every park I've ever been to, except for Disneyland.

People should be expelled from the park if they are seen doing this...

At least Disneyland cleans their gum issues right? Look at SFMM or Knott's next time you go...their ride lines are practically decorated with used gum.

I had a similar incident like that. Only that a big white wad of gum was stuck to my leather jacket on New Years Day. The people and their gum!!!!

I prefer they just fill the queue for Indy with various gum-activated traps.

OMGoodness. When you go to Circus Circus, and enter the Adventure dome. Head over to Rim Runner, a water ride. There is a bridge. And on this bridge, when people pass under it in the boats they stick gum on the bridge. It is absolutely disgusting. It looks like they haven't cleaned it since it has opened (Which I Have Yet To Research). I can't believe it.

Gum is a total problem world-wide.

    Disgusting.

I think it won't be as bad once the 50th is over.

Still grosses me out, though. It's so disrespectful and disgusting...no one has a sense of decency anymore! Arg. I hate grabbing a handrail in a queue and touching a wet, sticky wad of gum (hence why I carry with me antibacterial). Still, come on people, is it that hard to walk to a trash can? Or, God forbid, swallow?

I wouldnt go that far. what they should do, is install more security cameras in and around the attraction(s) and anyone caught vandalizing any of the attraction(s) (including with gum) should be banished from the park(s) for one year. additional infractions should include the following punishment(s):

    second time---two year banishment
third time---five year banishment and revocation of their annual pass(if they have one. if they don't after the five year banishment, they have to pay 45 dollars extra when they buy a park ticket.

fourth time---sorry dude. three strikes rule should include here.

Re: The Gum wall of Indy!

I have a real issue with gum in general.

Here, chew this flavored wad of sugar and plastics until it mixes with your own saliva and becomes flavorless. THEN dispose of it by sticking it somewhere public.

I was a custodian for a couple of years and grew to loathe gum. I've very nicely asked my wife not to chew gum and she very nicely obliged. I get nauseous seeing chewed gum stuck on things.... it's no better than spitting there.

If I was in charge of the universe I'd ban all gum from everywhere, but until that day comes (November 15th 2097) I'll have to keep praying to St. Elizabeth -v
St. Elizabeth, Patron Saint of Themed parks. Protect us from break downs, long lines, and used gum. Amen.

Re: The Gum wall of Indy!

they should ban gum for the entire city of anihiem not that it'd do too much good

while they're at it they could remove gum from peoples bags while they're doing the bag checking stuff but I'm sure that'd make alot of people very angry o_o

I do agree or society needs to ban gum but it's not going to happen because we do alot of worse things and they're still around

getting rid of gum would help keep alot of things more clean and tolerable for everyone though
