    3. There was a guy named Walt that started this crazy Disney company and had real ideas that were driven by specific visions and goals for the company. He valued quality, the art of story, and the magic that happens when they come together to create fantasy.

The 5 freeway was under construction at the same time just to the north of the site; in preparation for the traffic which Disneyland was expected to bring, two more lanes were added to the freeway even before the park was finished.

Visitor capacity is estimated to be between 65,000 and 85,000 guests. An estimated 87,000 guests flocked to Disneyland to see Disneyland's Main Street Electrical Parade do its final run. Disneyland often hits capacity during the Christmas season between late December and very early January.

I've heard that the secret to their tenderness is that they're packed in
    brine for several hours.

I was in the park the night before the last MSEP - Everyone came an hour or so before the parade - it was insane.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

BTW. if I remember correctly, the current capacity is much lower than the 85,000
since it is calculated partially from the capacities of the rides/attractions. With
the replacement of the CBJ and removal of attractions such as the parts of Toontown, RocketRods/Circlearama and the Subs and now the Snow White show, the
current capacity of DL is probably in the vicinity of 65K.

The Parade of Dreams was designed by Raul Rodriguez the award winning designer of many Pasadena New Year's Parade floats.

(He's the one who usually rides one of his floats with his blue parrot)

There is an old Eyeore parking lot sign hidden up behind the projector in the q for IAJ and you really do need a strong flashlight to see it.

A window on the right side of Main St. is made to be a replica of Walt's Apartment above the firehouse.

*The organ in the ballroom of the HM is the same one that Cpt. Nemo played in 20,000 Leaugues Under the Sea

*You can see the 'Mighty Microscope' from the now defunct Adventures Through Inner Space in the beginning of the Star Tours attractions. When your ship takes the wrong turn and plunges downward its on the right hand side.

*While on the topic of Star Tours. When your in line hearing the announcements, one of them is paging Mr Egroeg Sacul. Which is of course George Lucas spelled backwards.
