Story #1
I recently attended the baptism of my niece (we are Mormons by the way). While waiting for the ceremony to begin, I was sitting with my three year old nephew (who rode the Tower of Terror for the first time the week before) trying to keep him occupied.
I pointed to a picture of the Mormon temple in Salt Lake City
and asked him if he knew what it was.
"Yep," he said in a very loud voice in a very quiet room. "That's the Tower of Terror!!"
I said that no, it wasn't the Tower of Terror, it was the temple and he said. "But... then where is the Tower of Terror?" Good question.

Story #2.

On the top of most Mormon temples is a statue of an angel blowing a trumpet

Recently, I visited the temple with a young (seven year old) girl and her family who were recent converts to our church. We were showing them everything and then I pointed to the angel and said. "Do you know what that up there is?"
"Tinkerbell!!!" She shouted.

Funny funny stuff, thanks for shareing. When I was a kid I used to answer the phone saying "top of the Temple Moroni speaking".

In the movie SLC Punks the main character has a scene where he is standing outside of the SLC Temple and talks about how his family (who were not members of the Church) told him when he was a kid that the Temple was Disneyland.

Nah, most Mormons on this board are pretty laid back and have a good sence of hummor about our Church, I would not worry.

I wouldnt be too worried about the mormons freaking out. I think Mad Hatter is right. All the non-mormon people will come in and freak out like they do in all the other threads that start in on religion.
