HAHA! I think we can be expecting them any time now. I'm keeping my eyes peeled over in MIBOARDS too because MintCrocodile is sooo fast that she seems to have computer/internet access INSIDE the parks! haha.

I heard them also, but I'm going to have to wait a bit longer to see them, don't usually go to the Park on Friday (well sometimes, if I keep my daughter awake long enough) or Saturday nights. Looking forward to watching them many times during the summer though!

it's what they are like in their HEART!

Today I got the video (Cast TV?) of Steve showing off the fireworks and the few bits of the soundtrack they played do sound quite good.

I also demand pictures and movies. I want to see how this show looks before the castle is blinged out. Although my guess is that it will get such a positive review that they'll keep it around after the 50th.

    Not Impressed...

I saw the special showing of PoD this afternoon for the first time and I have to admit, I wasn't thrilled. If someone were to ask me about the parade, I would say it was like the POTS, but with much bigger floats! The new parade did not move me at all. I will see it again, just to make sure. But I was really hoping for something that would make me go...WOW!!!

I'm sorry, but NOTHING will ever top the Party Gras Parade during Disneyland's 35th anniversary!! Now that parade had it all and really showcased a real celebration. It was original, very colorful, & very upbeat! It had awesome dancing in it and it just made you want to dance in the streets and party!

I will say that the floats alone were awesome, but then again, they're not original. And the music was music we always hear...again, nothing new! I was expecting more elaborate music, especially that of the theme song (Welcome To Our Family). And the dancing was just OK...nothing too exciting.

I'm curious what others thought of it. I hope it grows on me!

Well, you know they are showing Remember every night, right? It'll be at 8:45 pm every weeknight for the rest of spring, before moving to its nightly timeslot of 9:25 pm for all of summer.

OUCH! What a blow! Comparing Parade of Dreams with POTS!? HARDLY! Now, I don't doubt that Party Gras was an AWESOME parade but I think Parade of Dreams is one of the best parades. Yes, it uses SIZE to wow you - but that's not the only thing! I think people miss out on a lot of different things because of its size - so you really need to go see it a few more times to find all the cool little things about it (i.e. Bungees, Trampoline, Spanish Web, waterfalls).

And to me, each float having their own music is MUCH welcomed -- if it was "WELCOME" the ENTIRE time, I think I'd get sick of it. And also, each float's music has a really good arrangement, IMO!

    THUMBS WAY UP from me!

OH MY GOD!!! I just saw remember from the hub. What an amazing show. Awe-inspiring, amazing, WAY better than Fantasmic!(i didn't think I'd ever say that). It's hands down the most amazing fireworks show EVER. Go see this show on May 5th. The fireballs, the lasers, the POTC cannonball sequence, the strecting room effect, the AMAZING castle lighting. ..........I can't wait to see this show again on Thursday.

On another note, I got to have a nice chat with DustySage and Al Lutz before the show started......very nice people.

Also, PoD was awesome! Ursula is fully articulate, all the way down to her fingers. Very good parade, although I think that the floats should have gone by a bit slower. They seemed to zoom by, only trying to keep up with the next float. Another small complaint is that the floats are sometimes spaced too closely, and the music from the different floats become garbles and mixed. Hearing Be Our Guest and I Got No Strings simaltaneously doesn't sound so good.

I took over 700 photos, most of the parade ones are up, not sure how many of the fireworks ones I will get up tonight.... (not edited though, will try and get it done sometime later today, since it is almost 3 AM!!!)

Besides all this, needed to fix Deogge's Mom's computer, and build her a new printer stand, and install a new HP All-in-One, plus some other things....

By the way, I saw a LOT of folks at the park tonight, and wanted to say it was a pleasure seeing all of you, and looking forward to seeing more of you the next few days....

Now go check out my photos!!!!!

    ENJOY!

The will only be two on the 4th.... both during the day for regular visitors and the second one is abbreviated. Celebes will not be having a parade, as their will be a gold carpet down main street.

The photos of the fireworks are fantastic.

As Jiminy Cricket would say "what they can't do these days".

It amazes me that you were there last night at Disneyland, watching those wonderful fireworks, and I am here in Chicago, and I am able to enjoy them.

    Thanks a lot!
