It reminds me of all the corporate trash mail I get everyday in my inbox. My company spends a ton of money on flashy feel good pamphlets that promote the most worthless things. These things are instantly thrown away but must have cost a bit to produce. I believe corporations have entire departments dedicated to the creation of this crap. I don't see how any of it helps our bottom line.
It helps the marketing departments bottom line. They dont get fired for sending out lame flyer's like this! Hate the design. Seems very Pressler/ Harriss IMHO. Not a fan of the whole flyer and the extension: Its still not too late to celebrate. Maybe they will do something out of th eordinary for the Halloween season?
Ha that is funny. I would give my 2 year old those cards at the registers to distract him so I could pay. He has an array of different kinds in his stroller. All empty of course That is a strange "gift"
The fake gift card was disappointing. I love how one of the bulleted features proudly states that 'AP' was magically worked into the design. Yeah, there's an AP on Mickey's glasses -- real creative. Who cares? And the $100 sweepstakes you have to fill out a card for and turn it into the store at Disney? * yawn *
I don't know why they are still spending time and money hanging on to the 50th promo. Shouldn't they be diverting all of their attention to the Million Dreams campaign to make sure that albatross flys?
Here's something interesting....I ordered the Disneyland Resort video/dvd and had it mailed to my office. It's a freebie and it had info on there about the 50th Festivities...so I thought it was a good idea to 'get' this item. Well, about a month or so ago, I got a $5 giftcard voucher to be redeemed at the main ticket booths. So, in my wallet is a $5 giftcard to Disneyland Resort.
I guess $1500 is better, but I was happy with a free $5 card too. Now I can get a churro and a 1/3.
They give you a random card. Each card can give you $5-$1500 dollers
If you're not being sarcastic...
then you seriously misunderstood that flyer.
I hold an advanced graduate degree and I had to re-read the damn thing at least 3 times to make sure it said what I thought it did. We're being given the opportunity to buy a gift card. Woo-freakin'-hoo.
