GIANT MARIONETTES! *That's* what Disneyland is missing...

Could you imagine something like this at the park? As part of a parade? Just strolling through the main entry area between DL and DCA? It could even eat that crappy dinosaur thing they used to have walking around DCA...

EDIT: ps - I got this link from a friend, and it looks like at the bottom there are a bunch of "trackback links" (not sure what that is) to a whole bunch of... well... really "non-Disney" types of links, so if you have young kids you may want to avoid that bottom area below the videos (there aren't any images or anything, but there are some fairly graphic titles for some hyper-text links there). So yeah... I'm not the pervert, if that's some sort of tracking history or something. Or, rather, I'm at least better at hiding my tracks before I share links with others... or something to that effect. But yeah... giant girls and elephants.

I've seen that before and I agree, it is quite amazing. Very well animated. To me it is no more creepy than puppets in general. I love it when the little girls climb up on her and swing on her arms.

Before seeing the video, I thought, DL does have marionettes
in F! and Parade of Dreams. But then seeing the SIZE of
those monsters, whoa!

It would be neat if AK had a Audio Animatronic Dinosaur the
size of that Elephant .

The girl was just freakin' creepy! Imagine one of those walking around
Paradise Pier!, hahahahahahaha.

(and that music with those videos certainly didn't
diminish the creep factor. ) I thought it was creepy
enough when they were putting on her shoes and
socks. AND THEN the whole tongue thing.

One thing that might help is to try to imagine the girl without the strings, like she was a real giant girl out for a day in the park.

Freaky and crazy yet still neat. I could see Disney doing something like the girl walking, talking, nodding, and blinking. But nothing else. The elephant was cool, didn't freak me out.
