Kathleen and I spent about 30 hours on DLR property earlier this week...and I will soon be posting one of my usual trip reports in another thread.
I just thought I'd take a moment to mention, though, that in all our dealings with CM's...we found ALL of them to be courteous, smiling, and most helpful, regardless of question or situation...even during a confusing situation we had to deal with with the start of the fireworks.
Both Disneyland and DCA...smiles and helpful people encountered everywhere.
Of course, we always tried to begin such dealings with a smile, and that does make a difference.
I especially want to compliment the staff of the Grand Californian. What a team! From the parking gate attendants to the bell staff, the very patient and friendly reservation desk people (let's face it, I ask some silly questions sometimes just to make sure I can get it through my addled brain)...to all the cooks and servers at Storytellers...We were always met with smiles, and an attitude that they were genuinely glad to see us.
Bravo. And in Disneyland I even got the chance to talk to a member of the "class" of 1979 in one of the shops! My era!
Bravo again.
