    Space Mountain Tatoo

I am getting my first tatoo this month and I decided to get a tatoo of Space mountain on my right shoulder. (And then the goddess Mara from Indy on my Left Shoulder eventually) i searched all over the web and could not find any Space Mountain Tatoos! Does anyone have any pics or tattoos or cool photos of SM that could make a good tatoo? I want an angle where you can see all the cool spires and spike on top.

    Thanks!

I found some cool pics that would make good tatoos, but still not a single picture of an actual SM tatoo! You would think someone would have a tatoo of SM? Just trying to get some ideas.

Be sure to post pictures of your tattoos after you get 'em done!

Are you going to get a photo of Space Mountain or are you going to re-draw the photo and stylize it a bit or have an artist stylize it a bunch? The art used on the Space Mountain shirts for sale at the park would make really cool tattoo material, too.

I'm sure glad Superstar Limo wasn't your favorite ride.

Thanks for the good idea for the shirts. I was thinking once i found a good pic of having my friend who is an artist trace it and make a cool drawing from that.

I thought this said "Space Mountain Taco" :lolk:

    Carry on!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

    Re: Space Mountain Tatoo

I'm considering a tatoo, but I am yet to find a picture I like.

The best advice I had - from someone with a couple of tats - was to find a picture you like, stick it in your wallet for a year, pull it out from time to time and look at it. If, after a year, you aren't sick of the sight of it - and indeed, still like it - then you've found your tat.

I'm yet to find something that really screams "LOOMIS".

Anyways, seems like a good bit of advice if you are yet to get any tats.

The picture is from Jackdack and it is found on the book just as you enter the temple.

heh... there was a huge debate about it a while ago. http://www.micechat.com/forums/showt...oddess+Mara%3A
and arguments were given on each side, but in the end overpowering evidence from Dr. Jones himself made him a man.

    Re: Space Mountain Tatoo

It will be interesting to see a) the pic you choose to use and b) what the tattoo artist does with it. I think the coolest part of a tattoo is what the artist brings to it. If you find something you like, don't be afraid to let the artist go wild and see what they come up with. It's probably good you can't find any pictures of SM tats, it means you will have something truly original.

    Re: Space Mountain Tatoo

I just had a great idea! After my SM tatoo instead of the Mara tatoo maybe I will get annother mountain (Matterhorn or maybe splash) and eventually get the whole mountain range! SM is my priority though because it's oner of my top two favorite rides alongside indy. I have to ride both those on every trip. Decisons, decisons.
