Re: The newest thing at the Disneyland Bathrooms - Advertisments

Saw those signs in the restroom by Hungry Bear...I didn't think much about it at the time. Had no idea they're popping up all over. Ew.

Is that sign for the same people that are still in the shower - lather, rinse and repeating?

As Figment said, they have been in WDW for a while. My question is this however. Would they make more sense somewhere besides the sinks? By being near the sink, the presumption is we already are washing our hands. Don't they want to catch the people who don't to "remind" them?

what there doing a the mall here is no doors on washrooms, one wall is blocking the view, and walk around the corner. Voila, no dirty door handles.

This is also up at WDW as posted on TPR:

It is just a fun type of ad - and it looks like it is working great. They got you talking about it and thats the sign of a good ad.

Re: The newest thing at the Disneyland Bathrooms - Advertisments

I have always used the paper towel that I dried my hands with to turn off the water (if I need to) and open the door (if I need to) because of the germs left by others - only because most don't wash after. But I think those kind of signs should be posted on the stall doors. Not that I am a germaphobic, just that it makes good sense. My rule is, if I wouldn't like it, don't impose it on others, but just to be safe...
Sounds like I am OCD, but I'm not. Just a precaution. I am still surprised by those that don't wash up... like some one else said "Ewww."

Jeepers, I am not coming off good here, am I? lol

Just so you know, if you use a wet paper towel to turn off the faucet and open the door, you're going to get as many germs as if you'd used your bare hand.....bacteria travel more easily across wet surfaces

What if you put a dry over the wet?
I am so sad to hear that
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
