    Re: Off Site Hotels

I'v never stayed at an off site hotel, i'v only stayed over night at DL once, but I live 20 minutes away so I don't usually have to (I only did when I was 4 and we wanted to be there at opening)
BUT I have heard Wonderful things about the Candy Cane Inn, like Disney Princess said

Thumbs up Re: Off Site Hotels

ask for one of the corner suites with the king bed and jacuzzi at the Park Vue Inn, it's great and you can't get any closer than right at the crosswalk.

we've stayed at The Tropicana and the Del Sol Inn and both are fantastic. Much cheaper than on property and just across Harbor Blvd via the crosswalk

I love staying at Carousel Inn and Suites, they're always friendly, the rooms are clean, and the price isn't too bad if you plan it out right (anywhere from 40-80 a night). Also the Ramada Inn Maingate is another of my favorites. AVOID THE RADISSON!!! We paid 120 a night when our room rate was quoted at 100 a night and the place was a dump and their employees were kinda rude. 4 star hotel? Don't think so.

Tropicanna Inn & Suites! I like staying there. It is clean, not pricey and right across the street from the Main entrance. Good location, cheap rates, nice rooms! Could not ask for better.

Sheraton Anaheim, the rooms are big, the beds are comfy they have their own shuttle, it's so nice!!
When I stay walking distance I stay at Best Western Park Place Inn, Tropicana and what used to be the Park Inn, it's the Camelot Inn now.

I avoid Castle, Fairfield, Del Sol and Park Vue

Ditto. Most of my stays are here. Really nice staff and decent rooms.
Hyatt regency, Residence Inn Marriott, really nice. Full breakfast Buffet where you can make your own Waffles.
Tropicana is ok if you get a room in a good spot.

Stay away from Ramada Inn Maingate. Awful. Dirty floors, bugs and and bad staff.

    Re: Off Site Hotels

We have stayed at Carousel, Tropicanna, BWPPI, Park Vue, Ramada Main Gate and Crowne Plaza. The room at the Crowne Plaza was the nicest, but we prefer to stay across the street! Love being able to walk to our hotel for a break in the afternoon. The bus to the Crowne Plaza was OK, but the drop off point at DL is almost as far a walk as it is to the hotels across the street.

We loved the Carousel and BWPPI. We stayed in the Tropicanna before the remodel in 2004.
