This is not really weird or anything, but I don't like it when people call it "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" as opposed to "Temple of the Forbidden Eye". I've actually heard someone call it the "Temple of Mara" which doesn't bother me as much since they actually got the deity's name right.

People miss quoting is bad, but what if it is your Disneyland tour guide that you have paid to give you misinformation? That is exactly what happened to my family on our last trip to Disneyland. We took the 50th Anniversary tour and the guide didnít know anything! He miss quoted, didnít know etc to the point that my wife finally stepped up and started offering the real facts/information he was missing. It was so bad that he officially stopped giving info and answering questions and let her do that for him. He took us from ride to ride etc and she gave the information, stories, etc. Have to love paying to give the tour yourself! Lucky for all of the other tour attendees that my wife is the Super Disneyland Fan she is, otherwise it would have been a very bleak tour.

    Matterhorn- Magic Mountain
Tower of Terror- Escalator (seriously), the elevator (forgivable)
Star Tours- Star Wars, Star Trek, Terminator, and even Spiderman
Downtown Disney- Disney Village, the mall
    Main Street U.S.A- Downtown Disney
    DCA- Californialand, Adventureland,
darn near anything- the rollercoaster, or the show
Disneyland Railroad and the Monorail are confusingly used interchangably, which is odd since ANYONE should know the difference between a train and a monorail.

Plus quite a few locations that the descriptions were either so vague or bizarre, that as Cast Member/Disney Geek I have no idea what the guest was talking about, so I just give them a map and send them somewhere that I think they'll enjoy.

Well... once, I was standing in the library of the original Tower of Terror. After the video, everything went silent as the lights came back on and we hear a kid saying, "What'd he say this was?! The Toilet Zone?!"

Re: Weirdest/Most Annoying Name Used for an Attraction by the Unknown

The most annoying thing I have ever heard was "BLAB"! Sheez it sounds like some one is referring to vomit rather than a dang Disney ride! They would say "Hey look, there's BLAB!" Then I would look at the ground to watch out for Throw up! It took me forever to figure out they were talking about Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.

I always kept saying Star Wars rather than Star Tours, but I was young & couldn't distinguish the difference. Sometimes I even called it Star Trek. But oh well.
