Where is the Electrical Parade?

ok, i may have missed something. where is the electrical parade? last time i checked it was right in DCA like its supposed to be and now i can't find it anywhere on the official calendar! does anyone know why it's gone, where it is, and when it's coming back?!

As I heard from CM's working this parade, it was only meant to be seasonal. The contract ran only through the summer and it has in fact run out; which means no more Electrical Parade for now. They'd actually have to conduct auditions again to get a full cast.

thanks for the info. gotta say, this bums me out. i think the electrical parade is a true treasure. kids love it, adults love it...

It is offseason, even though DCA doesnt know what season it is. MSEP is seasonal so expect it back in December and maybe April.

Maybe they've finally retired the ole girl. Even as a kid this parade left me cold. The giant carny lights never seemed all that magical. I did like the music though. I wish they could create a new version using the LM technology.

Reminds me of my childhood too. Love the Electrical Parade. The bugs rule. I wake up to the music every morning now.

As much as i love the ELP, it needs to be replaced, we have much better technology than glorified christmas lights... It needs to go, and be replaced with something bigger and better, don't be afarid of change!!!

I have one of those sets of Disney CDs with all kinds of songs from movies, parks, etc., and I like to listen to it when I exercise. Every time the MSEP music comes on... seriously... it's like a BURST of energy flows through me. And I can't help myself from doing whatever I'm doing in time to the music.
