Disneyland Imagineering Contest

Hello MiceChatters! I know everyone loves to think of new ideas, so I thought this would be fun. The contest is to design a new ride, land, hotel, resteraunt or shop for the Disneyland Resort. No real rules, so use your imagination. Descriptions are OK, but if you make a drawing it is even better! I am not sure about the judging yet, but we can figure something out, maybe a poll or getting a panel of judges. Don't worry if you are not good at drawing, it is mostly about the idea. The deadline for entering is September 30th, so 16 days. After that, we will judge however we decide to do it. Have fun!

Is this a Disneyland Ride focus, or can it be for DCA?

Does it have to fit into the present landscape or does it matter if it will not fit into Disneyland or DCA?

Are rides going to be judged apart from stores or restaurants?

I know that I have a lot of questions, but I am looking forward to this.

My husband has a Beatles ride that would work awesome in DL. Doesn't Disney own the right to the Beatles?

Is this a Disneyland Ride focus, or can it be for DCA?

I was thinking about anywhere in the Disneyland Resort-so Disneyland or DCA.

Does it have to fit into the present landscape or does it matter if it will not fit into Disneyland or DCA?

There doesn't necessarily have to be an actual place for it in the park, just tell what land it would go in.

Are rides going to be judged apart from stores or restaurants?

Didn't think about this. I guess there will be two divisions, rides and stores & restaurants.

i am totally doing this! i only have one question. are we only allowed to submit one idea, or can we sumit more than one?

No room on my project schedule for this unfortunately. If I had time, I would have designed it, made some concept art, and maybe built a scale model of it!

You are allowed to submit more than one, as long as you aren't submitting like fifty.
