Matterhorn Man,
What are you looking for? Somewhere new to eat? Somewhere private in the park? A cool show? A great place to watch the fireworks? ????
If you really want to show her a good time... take her into the jewelry store over in NOS and suprise her by buying her an antique diamond ring for fun!!! I would die!!!![]()
I'm addicted and I don't care!!!![]()
I would say that we are quickly becoming Disney Veterans. We bought annual passes this year, but have been too many times to count prior to that. We like the Blue Bayou quite a bit, but don't want to eat there every trip because it might spoil the magic. We are staying at the Grand Californian for the first time. I've heard about the gift baskets, but it seems overpriced and there is something in every basket that seems... unnecessary? We are going to try Storytellers Cafe for the first time. We have two and a half days in the park, so there's lots of time to do different stuff.

Since you are the the GCH, you could try Napa Rose. Its pricey, but good. Also, Fantasmic Dessert viewing would be a really nice surprise, its a great expericence, but you have to get tickets pretty much 30 days before you want to go.
You can see if you can snag a ride around the park in the Lilly Belle. Or take a late night ride alone on Pirates, usually you can convince a CM to give you your own boat before closing. Or take one of the special tours offered.
Those are just a few ideas off the top of my head

there must be something you don't usually do, so do it, Take a tour, stay later or go earlier than you usually do, ride rides that you don't typically ride, or only ride rides that meet certain criteria like rides that have been there since day 1. See a show that you haven't seen, or find out when some of the street entertainers will be around and make sure you stop to watch ones that you have never seen before.
Maybe you could start some new kind of collection, like pressed pennies, or do a progressive dinner with appetizers at one restaurant, entree somewhere else, and dessert at a 3rd place.
Or you could just wear you wifes undies that would maybe be new and fun too.
Ride Tower of Terror at DCA. That is sooooo underrated. I had a blast on that ride.
Your wife will definatly be hanging onto you during that ride![]()
