First time in Disneyland Hotel Report

Well, I went for our first anniversary. The trip was, shall we say, somewhat sponsored
Stayed in the Sierra Tower, right below the concierge lounge (sooo coool.)

This was on the cover on the bed. I though it was really cool all of the decorations were theme park related. I always dreamed of what it noght look like in there (am I a dork for dreaming? I dont think so

Sorry its sideways. It's a pic of the marathon Sunday. Had NO idea it would be right by the Hotel, and would wake me up at 530 in the morning and keep me up for hours

    Aah, my beloved pool.
I dont get the Ariel, though.

Here is a pic of the two of us at the E-Ticket (concierge lounge- it had opened for the first time Sat evening, when we got there, so we were some of the first people, woohoo.

GREAT photos! My wife and I stayed in the Sierra Tower on our Wedding Night and then again the next year for our first wedding Anniv.

We are hoping to stay at Grand Californian next March for our 5th Wedding Anniversary...so we'll see what happens! Fingers are crossed as it's sort of pricey and all.

I took some pics in the park, but nothing magical

    Concierge service-
Loved it, had a cast member named Robert who was really nice and really helpful wait on us a couple days.
The food, although normal fare mostly, was delicious. Assorted cheeses, crackers, veggies and grub onion dip, cream puffs, brownies, and a warm appetizer during 5-7 along with beer and wine.
The fridge was ALways fully stocked with sodas, juice, milk, water... they didnt even blink when i ran in for a few (had dinner in the room) And other times for snack I saw chips and salsa. There were always apples and bananas.
Breakfast was bagles and assorted spreads, pain au chocolat, cinnamon rolls and other breakfast pastry, milk, OJ, cereal, and oatmeal to make. Coffee, hot chocolate packets.

The view is really nice (as it should be) the elevator didn't work until the morning we left, but since the club had been newly remodeled, i understood. At least I got to ride it once
Used the service to get dinner at Hooks Pointe for our anniversary. It was delicious. Not an inspirting view though, oh well. I had sausage pasta and marinera sauce (forgot what it was called on the menu, but it was good.
We had a beef skewer appetizer. Disappointing for 8 bucks. two meat skewer the size of my ring finger with teriaki sauce.
Room service was speedy Monday night. We ordered fish and chips and a cheeseburger, and watched two movies borrowed from concierge dervice (hadn't seen Dick Tracy for a million years.)
Housekeeping was interesting- the first day, they were there at 9 am- we were still getting ready. Then, didnt clean up all of the trash. But other days, it went well.

If I have anchance later, Ill post a couple park pics- we did the Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness before it was opened to the public

    Great pics and report!

For your first time, you sure did it right!

And what a Tiggerific place to stay for your special night!

The Sierra Tower is our favorite. We stay there each time that we stay "on property". Our kids still get a kick out of the baseball diamond on top of the ESPN Zone. LOL

    Happy anniversary!
