    Anaheim Plaza or Alpine?

We are taking a trip to DL at the end of the month. It is a kind of a budget trip so we are looking to stay at a inexpensive, but near-by, hotel. I have found The Anaheim Plaza on harbor and The Alpine Inn on Katella for about the same price ($69 per night). Any opinions on either of these? From the websites and going by Tripadvisor I am leaning towards The Alpine, but The Anaheim Plaza is a little closer. What do you think?

Funny I should run across your post. I just booked two nights at the Alpine in October about 10 minutes ago! This will be our fourth stay at the Alpine (family of 4) and we love it! It's walking distance to the resort, especially if the trams are running in the Timon lot. It's quiet, clean, and the night views of DCA are outstanding from the second floor. The ONLY thing I don't like is their breakfast. Cheap danish and not much else.

Thanks for the info! That's good to hear. Do you remember if there is an elevator? If not then I need to call and request the bottom floor.

There isn't an elevator and no, I do not believe I have seen any hookers either.
