annual pass locations

ok so we are going to bite the bullet and buy annual passes for the family. (yeah i know just missed the increase!) Anyway is there more than one place to get your passes? The last time we had them we renewed at california adventure in the guest relations office. It was SOOO much faster. Is that still available? I don't want to spend all day doing the passes

I believe the Bank of Main Street, City hall and the ticket booths.

You can always buy the pass at the front gates and wait until you see a short line at the Main St. bank to get your pics taken.

Oh I guess I should have said we are going to buy them at the disney store or at the disney booth at the mall, before we go. We just need the pics. I thought maybe they had more than one location now. I heard sometime ago that they were going to put one in in california adventure, but I could be wrong...

Thats where I had to go in Feb to do mine, but I saw it back at Main St. in DL on Sunday

I saw a sign that read "annual pass pictures may be taken at Main St. Bank)" By the Nestle cookie factory thing in DL. So I assume the do pictures around there too since they had that sign up in that area???

or was the sign just in the wrong spot and left there?

My gf and I had ours taken at Main St. bank, it was a 2 min wait and the process took 1 min...but 3 hours later there was a line of at least 50 people. Either way you can now go to DL at any time! Cause you can =)

When we got ours it was a the friday evening on mother's day weekend (busy). It was around 7pm and the parade was going on...we only waited about 5 mins or so.

From what I've seen the lines at the bank are the longest in the early afternoon.

The only location that has cameras is the Bank of Main Street in Disneyland, so that is where you have to go.

How long ago did you have APs? You're probably still in the system, if you don't mind an outdated picture, so you'd be able to get it processed at any of the locations.

its been a couple years...I doubt they would let us use the old pic...

!! Important note!!
If you buy your AP at the Disney Store, and get it processed in the park, you MUST take your new AP and exit, then use it for re-entry. The Disney Store is a voucher only, and does not put your name in the system, and therefore an AP processed from one "has not been used for admission today." According to the Fastpass booths, which will not issue a pass.
Any AP purchased from the main ticket booths does not have this problem. It is only the Disney Store ones. (Maybe online too)

If you are still in the system you can purchase your pass from Guest Relations outside the main gates. They have the ability to print out a new pass right at that window. They don't have cameras so you would still need to go to Main Street if you need a new picture.

I totally agree with goofygoof.

We went to a DLR ticket booth, purchased the APs on a weekday. We went inside, around 5:30pm to the Bank and we had a 2 minute wait. Taking pictures took an additional 1 minute. About 2 hours later the line was 30 people long.

No, they do not have cameras... They do have a printer that can be used for renewals. But this time of year, they don't even bother opening it since the crowds are light.
