The 50 Golden Mickeys are coming down fast and furious. Today this one was taken out, and this evening when I visited the park, there was nothing but fake rock and blue putty where this once stood:
As others have noted, all the photomosaics are gone, and the many photomosaics near Small World came down especially fast. The only trace is a wood fence around the "Mowgli" mosaic in Adventureland.
There are still mickeys on the Castle, on the lamposts in Main Street, and on City Hall and the Train station, but they are the only ones.
This evening there were three carved pumpkins in the windows on Main Street, above the magic shop. They looked very real, like jack-o-lanterns.
And, the Haunted Mansion Holiday looks ready to open from the outside - there are wreaths, pumpkins, the coffin, and a large Jack Skellington at the gates. Can't wait.
