Good Morning America!!!!

Ok so I was just searching for stuff to watch tomorrow, and GMA's discription on DirecTV says, "The celebration of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World." WTF?!?! I am gonna Tivo it and see what's up. It also says, "A report on the grapple" what is that?!? Also, on the east coast NBC channel that I don't get, Regis and Kelly says for May 11th "Walt Disney World's happiest celebration on earth, actess Evengeline Lilly, Aaron Carter performs; Cinderellabration......but its not the same on West coast NBC. May 12th In WDW again, May 13th "New attraction at WDW", but nothing about DL??? Are you guys sure they are gonna be there?

OK I just found R and K's Disneyland episodes. Stoopid Tivo, I even have the keyword DISNEYLAND programmed but it can't just find it for me can it. There are on the 9th and 10th.

It says that on my Dish network guide as well, but then I checked on tvguide.com and it said that Good Morning America will be at Disneyland. And the Regis and Kelly show will be at Dsineyland on May 9th and the 10th. I just checked tvguide.com again for that.

GMA will have people at DL and WDW. Remeber it is only 4am in CA when GMA starts.

I am watching it too. They just did a section called "Things You May not Know About Disneyland." I would be willing to bet that every member of this board, esp the regulars, already knew everything they said.

But it's still neat of course!

They also said in the beginning of the show that the five crowns on the turrets were for each of the theme parks...

Maybe the segment should have been called "Things 'Good Morning America' doesn't know about Disneyland."

Wait a second......Disneyland, Walt Disney World? Are you trying to tell me there's more than one park?

It boggles the mind. Well, I guess anyone that's been to the Florida park and seen all the hoopla would assume they're celebrating their 50th anniversary as well.
Does this mean that Disneyland will get new rides and stuff when WDW turns 50?

Just saw GMA @ 7:45 PST. They showed the different parts of the Park . The funny part was when they showed Tomorrowland, they showed footage from 1998 when the "New Tomorrowland" had just opened (obviously footage supplied by the parent company) with the Rocket Rods running and the Observatron spinning around. Everything looked very kinetic and alive in Tomorrowland.
Oh well, maybe someday it'll be back.

Disneyland should be the crown jewel in the Disney crown.
