Do you think Tomorrowland is turining into the next Tomorrowland?

I'm just curious about everyone's thoughts about TL's construction and paint job. A lot has been happening in the last couple of years. A new color scheme that looks good, the Space Mountain rebuild, Buzz, the return of the subs, the Hatmosphere/Winner's Circle transplanting project, Club Buzz going back to Tomorrowland Terrace, new monorails, and so on is on TL's plate. There are even construction walls, a reminder of the ill-fated TL '98. To me, it seems like TL is moving into it's 4th generation ('55, '67, '98). What does everyone else think?

I would say yes; but that's me. I also feel that FL's TL is now in it's 3rd version. It all depends on how you look at these things (yes I know that's a real nugget of info you'll cherish). "You say tomato, I say tomato. You say potato, I say potato....."

I think it's more of a half generation.

It's slowly evolving from the '98 renovation, but it still can't find an identity.

Tomorrowland is a random mish-mash of theming, character, and focus.

Tommorrowland still needs alot of help but bringing back the subs is a step in the right direction. They need to bring back the Peoplemover(or something in its place) and then bring back the skyway buckets so they can restore the "kenetic energy" to the park.

I would say there are a lot of changes to Tomorrowland but not to the extent of the 1998 change where basically all of Tomorrowland was closed.

I also feel that FL's TL is now in it's 3rd version.

It's One and a half version actually. The TL we have at WDW today is half of the update we were supposed to get before they pulled the plug half way thru the 2nd coming of it.

Tomorrowland is dead to me until they get rid of the French Fries, get rid of Innoventions, bring back the People Mover, and put the Rocket Rods back where they belong.

That's not too much to ask, is it?

I am fairly certain that we will never see the skyway again.
Th only possible way would be if it were in DCA or a Cross-Park venture.

I think that will create a lot of damage, let alone injuries.. a high speed thrill ride sharing the same track as a slow-moving leisure ride... Not safe!


The return of Rocket Jets sure would be nice though.

Yeah um what is the rocket rods i didnt live that long. And the skyway to dangereus serisoly. too high. And plus tinker bell or another thing in the future are uing the skyway.

A couple of generations of people enjoyed the Skyway just fine. It's only dangerous for stupid people who like to treat it like it's their personal property and proceed to risk their necks for a giggle.
