    Re: Annual Pass Question

Yes, any AP holder gets two types of discounts.

One is 10% off the standard room rates year round.

The better of the two are the special AP rates, which show up on an unannounced basis.

Mousesavers.com is the best site I know of that keeps track of these promotions.

    Re: Annual Pass Question

Always thinking about coming back. My grandson wants to stay at a Disney Hotel. He graduates from 8th grade in June, and I'd like to give him his wish. Just wondering if I could perhaps save a little money. Planning a trip late June, perhaps.

Yes, besides the AP nights specials, AP holders get 10% off the resort hotels.

    Re: Annual Pass Question

Two Part Question: and I appreciate the answers so far.

The official Disneyland website has 2 different Annual Passes. There is the Premium, which sells for $359 and then there's the Deluxe for $239. I understand that the one has blackout dates.

My question is. Do you have to purchase the Premium Annual Pass to be eligible for the Hotel discounts?

NO, any of the 4 types of AP's get the same discounts at the hotels.

    Re: Annual Pass Question

I want to thank everyone for their answers. Looks like it might be cost effective for me to become an Annual Passholder. Might even put Sean and I, and his mom in the Disneyland Hotel or the Grand Californian.
