When is the Last day for 50th Parade and Remember?

What is the official last day of the Parade and Remember fireworks show?
I have some out of town guests who have not seen these shows and I am trying to figure out if these shows will still be playing. I know this has been discussed but I did not hear the final word on this. Don't be mad please

parade of dreams ends mid october and remember ends first part of november doesn't it?

Parade of Dreams closes November 12 for the holiday season and will re-open in January 2007.

Remember's last performance for 2006 is in early November. It may or may not come back in 2007.

Thanks for the Info, I assume there is no specific date in November for Remembers closing? I would love to makes sure I get to see it one last time!

November 10th is the date I've heard. May have changed since then.

Edit: Peek at the Disneyland website shows that I was almost right. November 10th is the first day of Believe... In Holiday Magic. According to the current schedule, Remember's last day for '06 is November 4th. Lemme poke and see if I can figure out when PoD ends...

Edit again: Got it! The last day for Parade of Dreams is November 12th. Christmas Fantasy kicks off the 17th.

I can't imagine Remember and PoR not coming back in '07 to finish up the "Where Dreams Come True" celebration. Just look at the titles...

Just so happens I was thinking about "Remember...". Even though the 50th has been going on for the last decade, I haven't stood and watched the fireworks show! I was planning on finally watching it on November 3rd, during my b-day weekend trip. Good thing. 'Cuz if it ends on November 4th...!
Hmmm, does anyone have tips on where to stand to get a great view without a suffocating crush of people?

Better yet, when are they REDOING THE CASTLE!??? The 50th stuff is just far out of place and is beginning to fester like a sore.

If you watch from Main Street near the Coke Corner, you can get there pretty close to showtime (maybe 15-20 before) and have an excellent view. Arguably better than having the castle 50 feet away and blocking half the show...

The 15-20 minutes only goes for typical nights, so if it's some unusually crowded time like a holiday weekend that's not going to cut it, but that spot on Main Street is definitely the best spot you can get less than 30 minutes before the show, if not an hour before. Or two hours sometimes.

From what a friend told me. That the only thing that is still going to be left on the castle is the crowns. The rest is coming down.

I'd have to respectfully disagree with you there. Coke corner may have seating, but the trees to the left of the castle impede the view of the sky fireworks drastically, as most of the sky effects are fired off from the left backstage side of the castle to make them viewable for the Rivers of America crowd.

If you want the best experience from Remember, sit in the northeast corner of the central plaza street (the street in front of Tomorrowland & Matterhorn Way). This way, you can see all of the sky effects. Also, the hub effects (streching room, laser blasts, etc.) have more impact, and you can even feel the heat from the indy flames!

The green is my recommended viewing area, used frequently at C.O.W. meets.

The red is the sections of trees that obscure Coke Corner viewing.
