Disneyland Toll booth hold up (Merged x2)

I was just surfing the web and saw this article in the OC Register. Does stuff like that happen very often at DL? Here in my area its so common I hate watching the news. Disneyland seems to be a hard place to rob though. . .

    Disneyland parking toll booths robbed
No arrests have been made, police say.

    The Orange County Register

A parking toll-booth attendant was robbed Tuesday, the second armed robbery at a Disneyland lot in the past two weeks, authorities said.

Two unidentified men drove up in a dark-colored Porsche at about 3:50 p.m. Tuesday. One man got out of the car, walked up to the toll booth and demanded all the money in the cash box. A weapon was seen by the attendant but never pointed. The man was given the money, returned to the vehicle and drove off very quickly, said Anaheim police Sgt. Rick Martinez.

On Sept. 19, a man in a light-colored vehicle, possibly a Toyota Camry, drove up to a different toll booth at about 2:30 p.m. The man got out of the car, asked for the money, flashed a gun, received the money and drove off, Martinez said.

Officials say the investigation is continuing; no arrests have been made.

How could they possibly get out of the parking structure without security stopping them?

Re: Disneyland Toll booth hold up

Wow, interesting news. Was this done at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure? Or at the Timon lot? I could see how it would be easier to get through the Timon lot, just drive straight through behind Paradise Pier and out onto the street again... But it seems like it would take a bit more effort to find an easy out of the Mickey & Friends structure. But wow, very interesting...

I can't imagine this would be a real bright idea. If you get into the toll booths in the structure, there's not a real good quick way out of the structure. You have to drive out the the oversize lot and then exit that way or go back through the structure in the Chip & Dale area. Either way you have to do a lot of driving on Disney property before you're even out on the city streets. I feel bad for that CM as well. I hope the surveilence cameras help catch them.

Not that much driving, especially if you know the structure. After the robbery, just avoid the traffic and go left, do a quick turn at the first C&D row (take down cones if necessary), and then power your way back to Ball Rd. Quickly turn left and get lost in surface streets. 5 Minutes, Tops. Extra points if you blast through Pinoccho, and then take down the barrier that connects the lot to Magic Way. Then right and lost in surface streetsl.* Doesn't sound that bad/hard.
