Fatasmic North? - Cool stuff in Nor Cal

Following is a link to an article that appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle today.

    http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cg...DGIULDEG11.DTL

The article says that Andrew regularly spends time in Disneyland forums. I am sure he must be a Micechatter!! I hope he sees this post. His backyard entertainment sounds very cool!

I am also from Nor Cal (very close to Andrew) and would love to see his backyard spectacle.

    Great work Andrew.

I love it! Looks to me like an imagineer in the making, but good luck to you, Andrew, in your directing aspirations.

Yup, he's gotta be here somewhere... :-)

    Anyway, Andrew, Good job!

Ever thought of sending a resume to WDI?
Also you should video tape the show (so you can watch it), then post it on youtube
(or another video site) so we can watch it!

Yeah, that seems pretty cool....I'd like to see it. Hell, I would fly up from San Diego to see it. Maybe he could charge people $10 bucks....and make some money, recoup some costs.

Video taping it and posting it on Youtube would be awesome but Idefinitely would make a contribution for the privelege of seeing it!

Hey Andrew it sounds very cool! A meet would not be a bad idea, just saying.

Seems like someone is in need of a DMX controller and some dimmers.

(too bad I can't help you there.)

If This Andrew guy is around, I shure would want him to know that we all respect him for what he has done! Of course I have not seen the show, but it sounds like one that I would enjoy. Great job.. and never give up your dreams Andrew!

From a dream to reality, sounds like walt.

There's one more big budget-related problem: Anabu has never witnessed his own show live. He has to crouch in his garage and plug and unplug more than a dozen power cords into a network of power strips, carefully timing the lights and other electronic devices to match the video and audio presentation.

"What's really bad about the show," Anabu says. "I never get to see it."
This is where someone like me would come in and come up with a way to make it all computer controlled, or at least make it so it's controlled by flipping switches rather than plugging and unplugging things in sequence...

I think that is the sadest part is that he can't see it. The picture of this guy in his garage furiously plugging and unplugging stuff makes me kind of chuckle. That might be a good show on its own!
