Phooey. I know how she used to be a face character. I kind of hoped they had changed their stance on that. It seems to me that since you can see she is normal sized in the parades that she might be available for pictures. Well I suppose if enough people ask for her in City Hall, who knows.

I like Tink fine. She IS a bit of a T-achee....(whispered in a rather gravelly rasp)

I hated Tinkerbell in the movie.

But I always squee when she does her flight path during the fireworks. No. Matter. What.
Well, light travels from the sun. Then, bounces off of our planet, and back into our eyes so we can perceive color. My body can intercept that light and dance around on it!

I love Tink, (not that anyone here would have guessed )
Kat- I always get Tinkerbell too...I think it's apropriated

She's is definatly my favorite charactor...she's sassy, opinionated, fiesty, cute, feminine, so very expressive....(and the fact that my hubby sais she's the perfect charactor for me...)

    Yeah Tink!!!! I love ya!!!

You know, the more I think about it, the more I don't like the whole 'we can't have Tinkerbell as a face character because she is tiny" excuse. I mean think of all the other characters that appear or have appeared in Disneyland that are the same size or even smaller. Here's a short list (not really, its pretty big). Chip, Dale, Jiminy Cricket, Sebastian, Flounder, the entire cast of a Bug's Life and Toy Story, and Nemo. And there are numerous others who are not all that much bigger like Lilo, Stitch, Pinnochio, Meeko, and Mushu. I'm holding out hope that enough people are going to start asking to meet Tinker Bell that she will show up for meet and greets.

You should see Piglet, he's huge!
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

Yeah, I was just thinking about him too. If we can suspend our disbelief that those charcters can be human sized, why not Tink?

Yes. She is the sexiest of all Disney's female characters.

My cousin plays Tinkerbell several nights per week, flying around the castle. And I can tell you, since you can't see from a distance... She's definitely cute! I can say that, because we're only related by marriage--not blood!

I think another reason it might be weird to have Tinkerbell walking around is that in the movie she doesn't really talk, which would make being a face character kind of awkward..

That one I buy a little more, but still I would think most kids would understand, after all she does not talk in the movie. You find a cast member who can mimic Tink's body language and facial expressions and you got it.

Which reminds me... I'm told that for flying around the castle, she has to wear a special mask to protect her from the super-bright spotlight that's kept on her.
