Tinkerbell: Why am I NOW only noticing how cute she is! TINK APPRECIATION THREAD!

Okay, obviously, I wasn't paying attention or something. Well, I WAS, but everytime I saw people buying Tinkerbell stuff, or fawning over how cute and pretty she was, etc. etc., I'd kind of roll my eyes.

But this week I was fortunate enough to see a sneak preview of Remember, and when she appeared in the show, I was completley enthralled by it all. I'd seen her in other fireworks shows before, flying straight across from the Matterhorn Mountain to the other side of the park...but in Remember, when she flies ALL AROUND the castle...I fell in love with her all over again.

    TINK APPRECIATION THREAD!

    APPRECIATE PLEASE!

And post any pictures you have of her if you'd like!

I need to buy some Tinkerbell swag now! hahaha ~becomes like all the rest~

Tink is great. I've come to appreciate her in all her cuteness over the last few years as well. In fact over at DCA I've taken the "Which Disney Character are you most like" quiz and BOTH TIMES they said I'm most like Tink!!!

This is the only reason why I'm going to DL tonight- to see Tink's new flight path during the fireworks.

    She's my favorite!!
She's sweet, smart, sassy, mean, grumpy, tenacious and she can fly!
How can ya not love her?
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I also realized that a few months ago, but I love her not as the cute little fairy from Peter Pan, but as a Disneyland Icon. I can't wait to see her fly ('till July 17th), I'm so desperate I'm actually trying to recreate the mechanism used in "Remember" to make her fly trough my room.

    Tink's gorgeus.

I'm so sick of all of the marketing of how much of a "little miss sassy pants" she is, so I began to get sick of her... But after watching the video of her in Remember...she's just as cool again.

Okay from the looks of the fireworks, it so looks like the tinkerbell is wearing a mask, and her wings flutter a bit! her face looks like tink, I swear it's a full out costume!

Went to the Disneyana show this evening....and guess who I met? The Original Tinkerbell, Margaret Kerry (Henderson is her maiden name), the one they actually created the animation character from. What a treat! What a nice lady also. Her website is - www.tinkerbelltalks.com, her 77th Birthday is May 11th! Everyone should wish her a Happy Birthday when that day rolls around!

Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

How can't you fall in love with the icon who makes all the disney magic happen. With the wave of her magic wand and a sprinkle of pixie dust the magic begins and all dreams come true.

YES-tINK IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED HERE!!

I am in total agreement. Tink is tied for my favorite Female character with Jessica Rabbit. Why? Because Tinkerbell is one of the few characters I could see flipping you the bird. She's naughty.

Here's a question for all you people who get to go regularly to Disneyland. Does Tinkerbell meet with people or only show up in the parade and fireworks? I would love to get a picture with her.

You can only see her In the parade and fireworks.
There used to be a face character in the early days, but people kinda freaked out (after all, she is a tiny pixie.

Altough I would love to get a picture taken with her, I think that the fact that you can rarely see her is what makes her so magical. Like Christmas.
