Pommes frites at Cafe Orleans, hands down.

Yes, I think this thread has one overwhelming winner, in my opinion - and that's the Pomme Frites at Cafe Orleans. Garlicky, crisp, seasoned just right - A1 in my book!

Pomme frites for sure. Although I think they could use a leetle bit more salt. Then they'd be perfect.

Isn't there a Salt shaker on the table

Some folks need to keep their salt intake down...

You can add as MUCH salt as you want as soon as they are delivered.... I am glad they keep the salt on the lower end

Of course there is. I'm just saying IMO they're not perfect until I sprinkle a few more grains of salt on those puppies.

I was beaten to the topic. Now here is one that there is definitely a universal answer. I'll have to get some Pomme Frites while there.

Ooops , sorry about that...didn't mean to "steal" your idea!

YOU were definitely the instigator/initiator of this thread!!!

These pommes frittes you're all describing sound delicious!!!

Too bad they don't serve Gordon Birsch to go with them at Cafe Orleans!

No problem at all. This is actually one I may have never started. However, it just goes to show that I had a good idea for a thread. I started the burger thread because I had heard conflicting info about hamburgers in the resort area, so I wanted a better idea on where to eat. THanks though.

Calling fries "pommes frites" is just an excuse to charge higher prices.

Whitewater Snacks has the best fries.

Is Taste Pilots that fast food place in Tomorrow Land?

I've heard good things about the Tomorrow Land fast food place's fries.

Taste Pilots Grill is not in Tomorrowland - it's in the Condor Flats area of Disney's California Adventure. And pommes frites is what they call fries in France, and in New Orleans, in most places, so it fits with the theme of the land/area.

What's too bad is they don't still have a Gordon Biersch brew pub down Katella.

Starting a new sub-theme, WORST FRIES!

Personally, when ever I get chicken strips + fries at the stage door, I toss out the fries. Always seem to be soggy yet undercooked.

Same goes for hungry bear sometimes (although the ducks seem to love em)

I don't know. I really only eat the fries at Cafe Orleans and Tast Pilots and I like both of those. I think my son's fries at Village Haus were pretty bad if I remember right. He didn't really care for them.
Check out my new Disney Blog here. What it lacks in quality it makes up with... Well, nothing I guess.

I have never had the pomme frites, though i have heard they are quite tasty. My favorite would have to be Harbour Galley.
