10/13/06:report/tiny update (Mansion Holiday, escorted of Thunder Mountain, more)

Here is some pictures from my visit to disneyland last night.

the sky was really nice looking.

We arrived at around 6:45pm and the gate lines were not long at all.
First up we went to the mansion.

I really like the way this pic looks.

Next was Thunder Mountain with a 35 minute wait.

    Nice pic, wouldnt you agree?
We rode it 2 times. The first time was great, but on the 2nd ride we had a little surprise waiting for us.

while going up the big hill, we were suddenly stopped.
The recording came on that said "Sorry folks, we have a slow-moving train up ahead" they played it about 3 times and it started to get annoying. Then over the speaker a CM told us to stay seated and another CM will come assist us shortly.

it was cool to see everything with the lights on. it was the first time i was escorted off a ride, so i was excited.
The reason why the ride was stopped they said was because some idiot decided to stand up during the ride. when we exited, we saw some people standing with a security gaurd.

on our way out of frontierland, i noticed the hat shop was turned into a christmas shop.

we ended our trip with a ride on space mountain.

    EXTRA NOTES:
There was a lot of flashing lights in the matterhorn, like strobe lights.

There were a lot of these special kind of Mickey ears I saw. They were blue with clouds on them and the ears were silver. I saw that a lot of people had them on and I was wondering why I didnt see any of those hats in the stores. On the hat it said "Dreams came true" or something like that. So I figured that you get those mickey ears if you were selected to be a part of the "Million dreams" thing.

It seems like BTMRR always has some Bozo (apologies to the Clown Community) standing up and stopping the ride. It happened to me recently when I was just about to get on the train. It seems like the hassle of getting evac'd would be worth it just for the photo/bragging opportunity!

You did a great job making the most of it by documenting it and thanks for sharing it with us!

Yep! Last night they were doing a lot of welding on the Matterhorn. It was pretty cool cuz it did look like strobe lights and smoke coming off the mountain.

I was hoping to get walked off a ride yesterday!! I must have gone over to BTMRR after you were walked off cuz it was down and so I didn't get to ride it yesterday... sad....

Some people got stopped on Space Mountain yesterday evening but didn't have to get walked off... they rode in and were sent through a second time. But all the lights went up and I'm sure were in the perfect position for some great pictures! I wonder if any MCers were there yesterday.

oh well... thanks for your update!!
    I'm addicted and I don't care!!!
