Golden Zephyr - What Should Be Done To It?

As much as I think we all know what the fate of the Golden Zephyr is anyway, I'd still like to know what people think. I've always thought it's a great ride, however, I have also found it to be waste of space. In my opinion any ride that must shut down based up on 2-5 MPH winds really shouldn't be in a Disney park.

What do you guys think? Remove? Upgrade? Leave it alone as is?

You are incorrect because you are listening/reading biased sources. The Golden Zephyr was altered several years ago and now functions on most days except during high winds.
As to what they should do with it ... nothing. It's a great, majestic ride that genuinely recalls the bygone days of the seaside resorts that Paradise Pier is themed to emulate.

it really doesnt take up that much space. though it is useless, short, and at times boring. it is cool flying over the water. but, i really didn't get the point of that ride, like how it fits in the environment.

but I's say put a new ride or just upgrade it.

Actually I'm doing no such thing. Many times, recently, I have gone to DCA with my partner and the ride has been shut down when there has been no wind at all, but told it was shut down due to wind. I received this reason from multiple cast members. So no, I'm not just listening/reading to biased sources, I'm going off of my own experiences and observations. Also, as for the fate of the ride I'm only going by the articles I've read about the potential changes to that corner of the park.

A ride like Golden zephyr would be a better draw for guests at the Pardise Pier hotel or something. An extra something to do next to the pool. As it is, it's not enough of a draw for DCA guests.

The Golden Zephyr is the ride in which silver bullet-like cars swing around in a counterclockwise direction, somewhat over the water, and somewhat over the asphault connecting Golden Dreams to California Screamin', correct? If so, I would say get rid of. I rode that ride twice, and both times didn't find it interesting enough. It is a good cooldown ride, especially after Grizzley River Run, but other than that somewhat boring. It is good for the little kids, which is a plus for it.

Get rid of it! I've never understood why it is called the Golden Zephyr when it is silver. I don't get why that ride doesn't even have a rope across the doorway, only a plastic buckle, and you are out over the concrete and water, but you have to buckle up to go 2 mph on Heimlich. The only one in that area that I wouldn't mind them keeping would be Jumpin' Jellyfish. Only because kids can go on that and think they are on the same kind of ride as Maliboomer. Personally, it freaks me out , but my 5 & 6 y.o.s like it. I'm scared of heights and feel like I'm going to fall off, but try to tell myself the whole time that I'm safe and my DSs are having fun so I should too . But the GZ is a waste. JMO.

We love the Golden Zephyr and hate the jumping jelly fish.
I hope they don't do anything to the Zepyhr... it's fun as it is.

That needs to go. I went on it once when DCA first opened and I was bored to tears and every time I have gone to DCA it's closed.
