the most succesful enviroments have audio anamatronics ( POC and HM).
after the removal of america sings, I was hurt, after the bears left i was destroyed. audio anamatronics are the most realistic way for kids to believe characters are real. and i want them back. personally i do not like the 3d stuff and to me those are just cheap ways of replace audio anamatronics that walt disney himself was so proud of.
Get rid of Whoopie???!!!! Perish the thought

If Disney wanted to pack the Golden Dreams theater they could simply show high quality 70 mm or IMAX prints of their classic movies, with many titles, rotated often, people would happily pack the very nice Golden Dreams Theater (Heck they could probibly fill the Hyperion) all day every day. I know film buffs that would pay the entrance to DCA for that alone and do it anytime something they really wanted to see was screening.

If the bears can't have their old home back they deserve to be in the wilderness of the already highly bear themed Redwood Creek Challenge Trail/Grizzly Peak area.

    Come on!
    of course they should!
Back to their home, but I would be happy to see them anywhere at this point. It won't happen though, I heard they are all gone now. Can't see the company spending millions to bring them back. I'll never get over it!
Goin around the world...and back to Disneyland!

Supposedly as recently as September '06 the AAs were still back stage at Anaheim (I heard this from someone I know who works in the Security dept.) except for the one Lil' Oscar at the Disney Studios and one Big Al that they turned into Oggie Boogie for the HM Nightmare overlay. Other than that supposedly the entire cast still in Anaheim just rotting away.

Wish we could get someone from Disney to deny or confirm that (MC CM Hint). But they've not shown up on MouseSurplus or Disney's EbayStore...yet

But, it's true that nobody (a small number, that is) went to see the show in its final years. Nobody clapped, nobody sang along. Everybody just sat there like bumps on the proverbial log. And I'm afraid it's true at Tiki Room, too. Nobody reacts.

So, let's just keep our warm, fond memories and come up with something new. Probably with guns. Rides with guns are real popular.
I agree. As much as I would like to see it brought back (along with the snoring bear that greeted you into Bear Country), it is better as a fond memory.

I recall too as a young girl seeing the crowds gathered in the waiting area and everybody clapping and singing along (in the Tiki Room too). But it seems that as the years went by the audience (and the participation) began to wane. I did go about a year before they closed down CBJ, and was disappointed at how people just sat there and didn't participate.

Although I dislike the Pooh ride, I don't think it warrants CBJ to be brought back. Personally I think that all of Critter Country needs an update (and especially a new ride). Maybe they could design a whole new dark ride based on some of Disney's anime films. Now that I believe would bring in a good group of people!
