I'm so glad you posted, I'm sure that I was just slowly loosing it when the show ended and I hadn't seen tink. I wonder why she wasn't there?

They should have it on shifts, like one week is one tink, one week is another. Or every other day is a different tink etc...

I'm about 40 miles away from Anaheim and it has been REALLY windy here this evening. Kicked up at around 8:30 and all is quite now. Don't know if it carried over to Anaheim though.

Wouldn't wind affect the fireworks too?

Well, I know for a long time that there was only one tinkerbell- It was a family of russian acrobats, I believe that performed the role, passed on down the line (at least, this is what I have been told, correct me if I am wrong). It is a pretty specialized sort of performance requiring some special skills that are probably not too common. I know while I worked there, I only ever saw one.

That stinks that she wasn't there- hopefully there is more than one person trained to do this.

Well, now that it's just a pully system, it's not hard to do. I know on stage and in theater they use pully's for flying people all the time. Look at aladdin for instance in the hyperion! They use pullys for the jump etc...

well, before, she smacked into a mattress at about 40 miles an hour! Not hard to do either, but I doubt the average person could do that every night I assure you it takes practice

I believe they had problems with the wires because two of them were not tight.

Looked like it was a last-minute decision because the follow spots still went - though those I suppose could be electronic and computer controlled

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

Well it did rain earlier today. That might have to do with something.
Well, light travels from the sun. Then, bounces off of our planet, and back into our eyes so we can perceive color. My body can intercept that light and dance around on it!
