What kind of ride do you want to see?
It doesn't fit at all with the theming, but I'd like to see a Quidditch themed coaster in DCA.

I see a recall happening after they realize that kids will be riding broom sticks.
hehehe kidding.
I can't see any harry potter fitting into DCA unless they do some heavy landscaping to match the lush greens of harry potter world.
Harry Potter is more of a Fantasyland type thing and I don't know where they can fit anything in if at all. If anything, an entire land devoted to Harry POtter could be great fun.

But I heard that the report was completely false somewhere. Who's right?

It would probably have to be a combination of the first four films. Or five, since OOTP comes out in July.

False: JK signs letter of intent for HP theme park
A report yesterday stated that JK Rowling signed a letter of intent to Disney concerning plans for a Harry Potter theme park. Today, a representative for Jo informed us that there is no truth to this.
Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter
^ Of course, Mugglenet gets the info. lol.

Yeah, they're pretty good about getting everything HP first.

If the rumor is indeed true, I am one to believe that Disney would have enough sense to center an entire park around the Potter mythos. The entry plaza is themed like the train station where the guests pass from the world of the muggles to the world of wizards. Main street could be Dagon Alley, of course a giant castle in the center...etc etc etc...
To try and cram the Potter franchise into one attraction and neighboring gift shop seems like Disney would be missing out on the Potter mania as well as cramming the "not quite Disney" theming into an already created atmosphere (a fantasyland or two, maybe MGM).
The real problem with attractions or a park would be the liscencing and rights to images and actors. Would Disney be able to secure the main people's likenesses for attractions or pictures (Harry, Ron, Snape, etc...) Most of the main characters are now synonymous with the actors who portrayed them, so breaking from that would deffinately damage the whole concept.
Personally, I don't care. Im not much of a Potter fan, liked the movies, but found the books dull (they ARE children's books, so I cut them some slack). I'm much rather see someone create a Middle Earth park. Spacious enough for the park to seem like a real place rather than amuesment park.
