Iím flying my parents in to join us for our Disneyland trip this November. Unfortunately, my father is disabled and requires the use of his ECV (Electric Scooter) to get around.
The airline is was very helpful and will transport his ECV for free, but once we get to the airport (John Wayne International) Iím not sure how we can get him and his scooter to the Disneyland Hotel.
What we need is a shuttle that has a lift or other faculties for transporting mobility scooters, but after an hour if internet searching, I have failed to find anyone who can do this.
I canít imagine with the number of disabled guests visiting Disneyland each year, that this canít be done. Does anyone have any experience with bringing an ECV from the airport to the park, or know of a shuttle service that can cater to the disabled?
Iíd hate to have to spend a lot of money renting a scooter once we get there when my dad already has one that works well for him, and that he is already comfortable driving.
Can anyone help?
