Re: Help me plan a romantic first DL trip dinner!

    Hi Sadako,

Actually, what I would do (and have done before) is not eat inside the Park, but I would take him to Storyteller Cafe at the GCH.

In my opinion, it's superior in all catagories...food, service, and atmosphere! I have been there many of times and have never had a bad experience. If anything, my experience has always exceeded my expectations greatly.

But wherever you decide to go, I'm sure you both will have a fabulous time...enjoy!!

Re: Help me plan a romantic first DL trip dinner!

Hmm - normally I'd say Napa Rose because I don't think you can beat the food there, and it is really romantic. It's also not Disney overkill if you don't want to shove that in "Philip's" face for his first Disney experience.

BUT, if you really do want to see the fireworks, the timing probably won't work. Dinner at NR is timely (not that it's a bad thing!). Dinner at BB gives you plenty of ambiance as well, and you're still in the park. And given the times you listed, you won't have to "rush through" dinner nearly so much.

But whatever you pick - just have fun with it. Enjoy yourself. Revel in the fact that you're spending the day with someone special and don't have too many expectations. Heck, the first time I took my now DH to Disneyland, we had the greatest time sharing a corn dog and a Mickey ice cream.

An ENTIRE DAY at the park with you Sadako? My goodness your boyfriend has along time to catch up to you!

Oops! Napa Rose by far the best! Good food! Great wine! Excellent romantic ambience!

My gf planned a great lunch at Blue Bayou on our first full time there together (at that time I had only been to DL 2 times). Since then I have been wanting to go alot more than she has hehehe, mostly because of the atmosphere and the vibe of the place that you absorb and never let go. i'm addicted, hopefully your bf will be too. Blue Bayou did the trick for me!!!

I'm sure anywhere would be romantic with someone you really care about!

I would go for B.B. myself. But Napa Rose would be great too. I think any place with someone you love would be great! Have a wonderful time!
