Talking Top 3 restaurants at DLR for service

We have something called Mystery Guests, which are random guests that go into a location (unbeknownst to us CMs) and experience the service and so forth. These Mystery Guests then produce numerical scores and a write-up for the location and those specific CMs who served the MG. If you're curious what the top three restaurant locations are at DLR with the highest MG scores:

    1. Club 33
    2. Napa Rose
    3. Plaza Inn

This is a couple months old, but I imagine it's roughly still the same.

I personally have never gotten an MG, but it's thanks to my co-workers at PI that we're up there so high! I was surprised we were ranked so high when we were told this a little while ago to highten morale.

Reading over that, I think some of my sentences are a little convoluted... Heh.

Surprised Blue Bayou didn't make the list. I always get excellent service there.

Unfortunately, I usually get fair to poor service at Blue Bayou. I think I'm just unlucky that way.
But Hubster and I are always pleased with the service at the Vineyard room. We've always been given top notch service. That's a location I would have guessed would be near the top.
And I think I may need to start going to Plaza Inn more often! I guess I'll have to force myself to eat delicious, golden fried chicken.

I'd never figure Blue Bayou to be included as of late, however, I'd expect to see Vineyard Room up there from time to time.

I love the Plaza Inn, I'm just surprised that a scramble service resturant gets graded with the table service locations. Just seems to me to be a totally different animal, but I've never worked food service of any kind, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.

Quick thought, we've always received wonderful service at Carnation Cafe and Ariel's Grotto (both table service). I wonder how they rate?

I have only eaten at Plaza Inn of the three you listed. I did have good service from what I can remember. It has been several years. I was glad to see that Cafe Orleans wasn't on the list. Since they reopened I haven't had anything but bad service there. I wish they would fix their service issues. I love the food and would probably eat there almost every time I go to the park.

They only told us the top 3 (to tell us how good we were doing at PI), but others you guys mention are most likely right under us. And remember, this is based on the mystery guest scores (mystery guests pay for their own food, but I wonder if they get paid back by Disney) so it's incredibly possible for any type of restaurant to get near 100 scores. This isn't based on depth of service or anything like that, it's based on numbers.

I have never eaten at the Plaza Inn only because I am not a big fan of what's on the menu. If they offered more of a variety I would probably eat there every visit since it has indoor dining.

Actually, I completely agree w/ this. (well, except for the Club 33 part since
I've never been there.. :-( ) Napa Rose IMHO really does have the best
service in DLR and Plaza Inn has more consistently good service than BB. Although
I've had excellent service at BB (esp more recently), I've also have had
subpar service experiences there as well.

Actually I find the service at the Blue Bayou great. We suck down drinks like crazy and they never let your drink get low. We actually had a contest (me and my brother) to see who can get their glass empty without them refilling it. Andrew won it but just barely because the person came right after he finished.

The Plaza Inn has some good food, but the service hasn't always been the best for me the last few times I've been there. Maybe the CM's there that day were just having a bad day.

If they're a mystery guest, how would you know if you had ever gotten one?

As for sservice at Plaza Inn, I've never recieved anything to rank it that high, and I do frequent the place for the pesto alfredo penne. Usually those serving the food are flustered, stressed out, unfriendly, and sometimes just plain rude.

I haven't really had a negative experience with the cashiers though - they're usually pretty friendly.

But whatever, congrats on ranking so high.
