I agree. Keep expanding on the quality of the two stateside parks and use the money they would spend on another oversees park to enhance the quality of both DLR and DCA.

I'd pick the U.K. or In California right behind DCA!

Re: Where Should The Next Big Disney Park Be Built?

    Seems pretty obvious to me.

The next Disney park should be in Anaheim. There is space for a 3rd park and three parks would make the destination far more attractive to those outside of local (read "500 miles") region.

Considering the weather of Orlando, three parks in Anaheim (along with the rest of the greater LA/Orange/SD area) would make the SoCal Disney destination absolutely huge.

    Just a thought from ....

That is so funny! I am like 5 minutes outside of Seattle and often have a dream that I drive to DLR in the morning and have a great day and then go home to my own bed - (in fact its located about where Enchanted Village/ Wild Waves is in my dream).... I wake up so very very dissapointed every time But we are still closer than many other people in the world - so I must be happy for that! I guess I can technically drive there in a day (less than 24 hours) but its still not the same as this dream I have again and again.... such a teaser!

I'm sorry, but isn't it just pushing it to build a Disney Park in a country where so many people are poor. It just doesn't work with the economy. Disney Parks cost a lot of money to go to. So build it where there aren't so many hardships between the people to just put food on the table.

I read somewhere that the next park would be in Thailand, but I don't know if that is true or not.

I don't want to see anymore oversea's parks. Fix the ones they already have. Disneyland is an American thing. Let's keep it here *or at least not build anymore* We don't see other countries building their own entertainment institutions all over the place. Lets keep it unique *if it still is*

Re: Where Should The Next Big Disney Park Be Built?

If they absolutely have to build another park, my vote goes to South America. The people that I knew when I lived there absolutely loved Disney. Everyone had the movies (dubbed etc) and knew the songs. I think a park in Brazil would do really well.

However, I agree with the post above me. I think they need to hold off on park construction for a while, spend the money and getting the parks they already have up to spec, all shiny and new, then look to expansion again.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

I vote to just expand and enhance the already existing parks. I mean, look at how tiny HKDL is right now. They need some serious expansion. And I wouldn't cry over a third gate in Anaheim.

I vote for no more parks, work on expanding what is built. I think building more parks will only delude the experience for the world.
Disney parks have always been a unique slice of Americana for the world. I personally think it should stay that way.
