[Flour Girl]

I interacted with the most adorable two year old on Tuesday! She was too little to do the show but we made sure she got a cookie just the same. The pianist was doing his set on the nearby porch and I got her to 'dance' with me by standing on my shoes and holding my hands while I boogied around. XD A couple minutes later she saw my co-worker smear flour on my cheek and seemed to think it was the most hilarious thing she'd ever seen. (Hysterical screeching toddler laughter!) So I got down on my knees and let her pat flour all over my face herself while the parents took photos. When she left she was yelling "bye 'denny!" and waving frantically with chocolate all over her face. =)

And that, ladies and gents, is exactly why I choose to continue working here six years after my hire date. Warm fuzzies all around!

you have such a great job.. I loved working at dca too (until i moved to vegas a onth ago) but i was 3rd shift custodian, so I didnt interact with guests.. (i did for the 50th.) since guests came into the park to wait for DL to open, that was alot of fun.. to see some of the kids faces excited to be going to DL

How often during the day is the junior chef program? Im going to be there the week before Christmas. Is there anything that I should do so my son can participate or do we just have to show up? He's 4 yrs old if that makes a difference.
