    Question Snow On The Matterhorn...

Do you think the Matterhorn needs a nice covering of new snow? It's been YEARS since Disney has repainted that mountain and I think it could use some TLC up there on the top!

Global warming has melted some of that snow.

It's funny, the Matterhorn looks kind of yellow. But that's from looking at it through a layer of SoCal smog.

I agree, it needs a new covering of fake snow. Hopefully they'll do that before they finish the refurb.

:offtopic: is that the same wood on the mountain since 1959?

I hope so too, it is looking rather worn.

Winter is coming so "Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow".

I say it needs some sprucing up, indeed.

What might be sort of cool is to place some of the faux-snow generators they use on Main Street on the Matterhorn. Perhaps there could be a "blizzard" on the Matterhorn every half-hour or so. Might it not be cool to look up at the Matterhorn and see "snow" falling?

Living at Lake Tahoe we have lots of snow every winter. I will be happy to drive it to DL once a week, teh only cost to DL will be gas money, hotel cost and free tickets and free dole whips for life.

Abominable Snowman: Want a snow cone?
[Mike looks distastefully at the very yellow snow]
Abominable Snowman: Oh, don't worry. They're lemon.

    Re: Snow On The Matterhorn...

Well I've always liked a snowy Matterhorn, but the darn thing does really need some repainting. I hope that's part of the refurbishment.
    Does anyone know for sure?
