DisneyLand secrets (shhh)
What are your DisneyLand insider secrets/information? It can be anything from something some people only know to what only a few people know. Anything that isn't super well known or obvious. My goal though, is to get some really cool information not many people know about. What are your DisneyLand insider secrets? I'll start with some examples (maybe you don't know this):
There is a hidden eeyore sign in the back of the projection room on Indiana Jones. Ask a CM and they will show you...If they have a flashlight!
Supposedly, the crow in the haunted mansion is actually the narrator.
There is a guy on splash mountain who sits in the dark in a chair...Right before you go up the highest hill for the big drop.
The truck outside of Indiana Jones was used in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Re: DisneyLand secrets (shhh)
Cool, a lot of them I already know.
Re: DisneyLand secrets (shhh)
I've mentioned this one before, but still think it's cool...
If you're walking through the castle towards Fantasyland, enter the shop through the immediate left hand entrance, look around the open door and you will see another narrow door. When opened it's a ladder that leads to the upper floors of the castle. Dark and dank, and I've known a few CMs to attempt a climb, but I have heard of it both being a happy place for spiders and mice! It's cool though!
Re: DisneyLand secrets (shhh)
Behind the giant CALIFORNIA sign, they've hidden a theme park.
Some CMs even know of its location.

Wow - I've heard rumors of said park! I also heard that you can get an 'adult beverage' in that hidden park...
Re: DisneyLand secrets (shhh)
This is probably known by everyone here but here goes:
There is a real pet cemetary in the Haunted Mansion que. Ask a CM and they will take you to it.

Sorry to say Loomis, that was debunked on Mythbusters. Your so called theme park was proven to actually be a large shopping center. :)

It was going to be the narrator... Thats why the crow is everywhere in the attraction, because it wasnt just going to caw, it was going to narrate.

Sorry, nope, but I had the perfect opportunity. Last time I was there they were doing a position change and they had the outside door open so it was lit up. Talk about a boring job.
Re: DisneyLand secrets (shhh)
^ Ya, its just a CM. If you look off to the right just before you go up the lifthill you might be able to see him/her.
Re: DisneyLand secrets (shhh)
The CM that sits at the bottom of the lift hill is part of the shift rotation, so they don't have to stay there long.
The position is required by Disney Safety Lawyers, and was a compromise to installing lap bars and/or seatbelts, or making the height requirement taller.
