    Splash Logs

Does anyone else think that the splash mountain logs are to big??

I remember the older logs and they used to be really smooth, without many jerky bumps.

Now, these logs seem to be really heavy and bulky. In my last rides, the log has always seemed to hit the floor when we turn. Also, if ur sitting at the big you could get major booty bruises. Right before you go down a hill there is a little bump, but if ur in the back "OUCH!" it hurts.

One of the worst experiences I've had by far though is when our log slipped back on the way up the big hill. I was really freaked out. Especially because the next log was behind us.

    What about you guys?

Wow! Your log slipped!? How scary!

Personally I liked the logs that were there when the ride first opened. It was fun to get to sit with my Dad in one compartment. And now they are individual seats. I hadn't rode in the new ones until last Feb., and did notice they seemed bigger than before. But the experience didn't differ that much enough for me to notice.

Holy cow! can you elaborate on that experience? Did you stop or keep going down the hill?

we were at the top of the lift and then our log started shaking and is slipped back a good few inches. then our log started going back up again, but once we got to the top or log started leaning back-and forth, like a see-saw.

it's one of those experiences u dont forget.

    Re: Splash Logs

There is now a big jolt every time on one of the smaller drops. One time when I wasn't prepared, I had my tongue between my teeth and it made me bite down pretty hard. That's when I noticed that it does that every time now. I even thought it was just because I was sitting in the far back of the log, but last time I rode towards the front and I still felt it. It jars me enough to bump my bottom pretty hard every time. (I still LOVE the ride.)
