    Think about the discussion. What two rides has mycroft16 been talking about

    MI = Monster's Inc
    MAWP = Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

    I don't like it because it only uses old technology (Peppers Ghost Effect, cardboad cutouts in the Heffalump Scene, etc.) and AA's that barely move. Now if it were advanced in technology, I may like it more. I prefer the Country Bears over Pooh .

    Re: Went on Winnie the Pooh for the First Time...

    I happen to think that The Pooh ride fits nicely with Critter Country. Look at Splash Mountian.. It's a ride with talking animals and thier story. Pooh is a talking bear, just like the Country Bears were. It might not be a show, but I really do think that it fits into the Critter theme.

    To live would be an awfully big adventure.

    Hahha, no, you're not. I think sometimes we go overboard on trying to minimize what we type. MI is always Mission Impossible to me and MAWP... well... i dunno but last thing I think of is pooh!

    Some names just can't be shortened. Matterhorn Mountain = MM? Mickey or Minnie? I prefer a "space mtn" over SM anyday.

    And just for this thread, I will go on Pooh again my next visit. Just to see it again with even more open eyes. But I've gone on it 5 times this year at least... more than any other dark ride this year so far. But hehe... it's because the wait time is always 5 minutes or less!

    So many people like or dislike, here is my dislike.... I dislike buzz light year, its cheesy and boring! I also dislike monsters. yep I dislike it and do not ride both these rides at all. So as many like those rides many do not like the pooh ride, to each his own.

    Re: Went on Winnie the Pooh for the First Time...

    I like Pooh okay, but I would like it more if it were more emotionally involving. What I mean by that is I really enjoy Peter Pan because I feel like I'm flying over the rooftops of London. Pooh doesn't generate a similar "transportation" effect for me, although I do admit that I like the "blustery day" that they create when you first enter the ride building.

    There should be lots of "warm fuzzies" associated with this ride. You should be 8 years old again when you ride it, but I don't feel that way.

    ^ HM, I LOVE Buzz lightyear. I think it's great fun. Interesting how one ride hits people very differently.

    Good point. I never liked shortening the names. Seems lazy to me because this is a message board, please spare the 3 seconds to type it out fully. I never understood what BLAB and HISTA were for the longest time.

    Anyways, to get on topic. I actually like the Pooh ride better than Pan. Pan had a huge line and was just so disappointing to find that it was no better than any othe dark ride in the park. When I ride a ride, I do not go on like some others here do and go, "well that was made cheap." That's probably why I enjoy Pooh. My favorite will always be Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

    I used to think it was just a messed up word that people like to use that had no specific meaning to an attraction.
