Aaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why does it have to dead end?

When I was little I always got it confused with Fronteirland and thought by going to the end it would somehow connect with Fantasyland.

Walking down to Winnie the Pooh, you always see tourists walking back up the hill with a bewildered look on their faces like, "I thought that went through to somewhere." I call it the walk of shame.

They should definitely connect Critter Country to Fonteirland via a giant pirate-themed bridge.

Hmmm. No offence. But I hope neither of those ideas EVER come to be. I like it the way it is.

They were ALL dead-end lands, originally. The Hub was the place everyone had to go back to in order to move to another land. This allowed the hub to be a "scene transition" and is why the entrances off the hub are better themed than the entrances from other lands.
Granted, with park attendance these days, the flowing nature of Disneyland is more helpful.
It's now the wagon wheel, but instead of having to go the the hub to move around, now you can go to the wheel itself!

Keel Boats....bring em back and have them make two stops; one on the West side of ROA and the other on the East side.

Could you imagine having to walk over that? Id be ready to go home after going across one way.

Part of the problem is that nearly 1/2 of the best attractions at Disneyland reside on this single spoke of the proverbial wagon wheel. Ie; Adventureland(Jungle Cruise, Indy), NOS(Pirates, Mansion),Critter Country(Splash)...all lie on the same path/spoke.

What really needs to be done is both Frontierland and Tomorrowland need more/better attractions to ballance things out a bit.

Yeah, it really stinks to get back there and find splash not running.

yeah i actually like the way it is , it's cool hanging out there at night after riding splash , i'ts not really that confusing , all anyone really needs to do is glance at a map

Couldn't have put it better myself. Was going to say that and then read your excellent post.

And it's only confusing for those people who go wandering around without once looking at the map they are handed. I love how isolated it is. Especially at night. Riding an empty Splash, then just grabbing a snack from the shop and sitting on the benches, watching the lights and shadows in the trees. The sounds and smells. Cool air. It's very relaxing and quite pleasant.

Now that's an idea! When I'm walking from Frontierland over to NOS I just see the swarm of people milling around and I get tense! There surely has to be a good balance of rides to alleviate some of the crowds in the NOS CC area.

You know, walking is a healthy thing to do...there's also a map that you're given when you enter the park...
